Morning :hello:
1 AFD for yesterday.
I've managed to switch from Cadburys Drinking Chocolate (52% sugar) to Bournville coca (100% coca - trace of sugar) as my bedtime drink on AFDs over the last week - and I've been sleeping brilliantly. Takes a bit of getting used to as it's quite bitter - I use a bit of milk and water to make my drink - like an instant coffee - rather than all milk.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

I do believe I've finally cracked it too. I don't mean I'm about to quit drinking - but I know I'll find the stop button when I decide to have a drink and climb right back on the wagon.
It is a relief :-)
And I will remain forever vigilant because it's taken a lot to get here (and when I think about it I've let quite a few really nice friends drift out of my life because of their different attitudes to drink from mine - so some sacrifice too). What do we do when we fall? Great posts on here. I well remember the early days HB pacing around. constant glasses of water, never trusting myself to post an AFD until bedtime.....
For anyone lurking, the feeling does pass. Honest!0 -
After a day laying in A&E after collapsing in the caravan with chest pains, I can safely say 3/30 for me.
Not a great way to spend a Sunday0 -
Hope that's nothing serious Dizzy
3/20 please0 -
Hope you are ok Dizzy
First AFD today, 1/25, which isn't a great start to the month. I did share with DH tonight that I wouldn't have a drink because I couldn't stop at just one (I've never said it aloud to him before). He said he was surprised because he's used to me being able to stop eating sweets after just a couple, whereas he can't.What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0
