Morning all, had a fantastic nights sleep last night and am declaring very early for today with 7/29! New year, new start in all aspects of my life and getting fit and healthy is number 1 for me. Possible entertaining tonight but have still got AF wine in that I bought for designated drivers over Christmas so that is what I will be drinking, looking forward to receiving first smiley of 2016 please Shaggy.
2nd priority is getting rid of all the clutter that is taking over my house! Since I haven't been drinking this week I have had loads of energy so been sorting out cupboard or a drawer each night after work and it's so liberating. Taken a car load already to local charity shop and aim for another car load by the end of the day, going to tackle my wardrobe that has spread into my sons and daughters since they have left home!!
Happy Saturday to you all, it's great to wake up feeling bright and energised and not nursing a hangover!!

    Morning :hello:

I'm a bit lonely counting ALDs now that Dizzy is back doing AFDs so I'm gonna start shouting out my AFDs again. So I'm setting a target of 17 AFDs for the rest of January.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Hi Shaggy, can I join please? I got into the habit of a glass (or 2) of wine most evenings last year but am aiming to cut back big time this year. Am aiming for a dry January and am 7/31 so far :)

Pushing out the MSE welcomewagon.giffor you. Good Luck!

Hi I'm new to this part of the forum.

I was planning on having a dry January, but that hasn't quite worked out as I planned. I have just taken on a more challenging role at work, with longer hours and when DH suggested a drink last night, I wasn't able to say no. I think I will be going for 20 alcohol free days this month.

So far I have managed 5/20

Pushing out the MSE welcomewagon.gif for you. Good Luck with the rest of the month.
