Posting early is a new phenomenon for me, for years I always posted at bedtime just to be certain;).

Definitely going to be AF tonight.

I let myself start posting in the mornings when I'd done a full year without booze. Up until then I really didn't dare risk it! It's quite a mindshift knowing I can trust myself not to, today at least! Good on you, Maman, well done.

20 AFD if possible? I've already done 3 but I won't count them

    I would!

Thanks for the hugs HoneyBear, much needed. I am finding it very stressful Maman as I don't really understand the market so have no idea whether it'll sell easily or not. We'll have to see what happens and how much interest there is when it goes on the market. I fit's not going to sell for a while then we do have the possibility to rent it out I suppose. Are you going to be moving far Pricey? We coming back to the UK so alongside a house sale I have to arrange international removals - urgh!

Tonight is AFD 6 here, I am going to go to bed early tonight with a sleeping tablet as last night I had a terrible time of it (having hot flushes alongside really is not helping either)
Talking to my DH last night though he did say 'well, none if it really matters, it's just money in the end, we're all well and happy and the kids are fine'. I'm glad I married such a level headed man.

More (((hugs))) and another *sigh* of admiration for your OH. When I was plagued by hot flushes the only thing that I found that worked was sage. It tastes vile as a tea but I got used to swilling some down, cold, every day until I'd got the sweating under control.

    7/31 please Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

Thank you:). My main reason for posting that was because I want new people to realise that it gets easier over time and it's worth persevering. On reflection, I think perhaps if I'd posted early from the start it might have been easier. Sort of a decision made rather than debating/arguing with myself at wine o'clock. Who knows?

Definitely going to be AF tonight.

    3 AFDs please Shaggy.

    Wise words Heath.

I had a much better night last night thanks everyone. I will try the sage Honeybear, we have a lot in the garden. Satchmo we are seriously going to get rid of a lot of stuff - most of our furniture is second hand or old or wonky IKEA so we'll try and get rid of that and a lot of household stuff will go to but there will inevitably be some stuff we want to take back (and need to because we can't afford to buy everything new, even though we'll soon be a much smaller family). I've starting declutter img already and making the place look nice but it's a lot of work!
    Trying to keep in budget.

Good luck gien with organising the move. Are you looking forward to being back in the uk even if it looks like a big task at the moment? I don't mean to pry, you don't have to answer.

Fantastic looking choccy party Honey Bear :) looks like a great idea!

I had some more of the sad news. I was tempted to have a beer like I did when I first heard but somehow managed to pour out the cranberry instead. It's going to be quite hard that one I think.

I don't want to get drunk and make myself even worse, but I often want a beer and remember how things were. But it seems I'm not that good lately at stopping after 2 units like I was at the beginning so I've got to be careful.

I need to start putting things in order and packing boxes for my move, but because I don't know where I'm going I can't find the enthusiasm yet. Tidying might help though!

So far this month I've had 4/18 AFD please shaggy :)

Went quite quickly. What I am finding is that there are loads of hours left to do things after "Beer O'clock". I'm used to not going out or driving after about 4pm usually. Feels good and I know my family are noticing a difference. Downside is I think my OH shrunk my trousers as the belt was a bit tight. Need to cut back on snacks I think ;)
