5/31 for me, thanks Shaggy. I am so knackered after a long and stressful day. Ginger beer and bitters for me again and a short lie-down. And it's only Tuesday!

Calling in with another AFD 5/31 now, along with a lot of others - we're going great chaps, let's keep it going!!

I've felt very anxious again today, triggered by talking to the estate agent (selling our house here is making me irrationally anxious) so I have really tried to keep an eye on myself today and deal with the anxiety. It has helped knowing that I will not have a glass of wine to 'take the edge off' and that in turn will lead to a good nights sleep instead of waking up in the small hours sweating and with my mind racing.

    thank goodness for tea.
    Trying to keep in budget.

5/31 AFDs today. Good first 2016 day at work, with my boss doing some legwork so that I didn't have to put unnecessary weight on my sprained ankle (which I did at my last 2015 day at work). The swelling has really gone down, but it's still achy.

DH has excelled himself with the cooking and housework whilst I haven't been able to. I may keep this up for, oh a month?
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

I'd just like to add that my DH came home from work, grinning and waving a bottle of wine at me that a supplier had given him. I've put it at the back of the cupboard. I won't be needing THAT this month.

    .

I am in the same position, Gien - first viewers/sign going up outside on Monday resulting in me turning to wine that evening, and waking up in the small hours worrying. I too know that my AFD's are essential. Good luck x

Honey Bear, I suppose what I find is that it's easier to keep accountable if I put a number on things.

I'm absolutely with you, CathyBird. I set very specific targets for myself and without doing so I'd really, really flounder. I suppose what I was driving at was that even if the guidelines aren't scientific, they're something I can work with and that's good enough for me.

    Anything special planned????

Very much so. A chocolate making party here, followed by a meal. I wanted to do something that didn't revolve around booze, that friends might not otherwise have the chance to do and didn't involve travelling. I live just around the corner - in fact, it's the closest shop to where we live. Perfect.

Excellent figures racking up all over. Yay!

Sorry the up and coming house sale is worrying you, Gein. (((Hugs)))

    6/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.
