Shout if I've made any mistakes!!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Well it is in my head :rotfl: I had another AF night last night. I was even shopping in tescos and talked myself out of buying wine (even a small bottle) :T

I have tried to focus on how I feel when I wake after an AF night. :) I had a horrible come down on Sunday after all the drinking over the weekend and before. :( I knew I had to ride the wave (as I call it) so last night when my brain said....ooohhh a little glass of red would be just lovely - I forced myself to remember the come down and how good it is to feel fresh in the morning rather than that horrible muggy tired feeling :)

AND...knowing you lot are here, with no judgement really, really helps :)

I sipped soda water and lime and it seems to do the trick...it's all a learning curve isn't it??

I even managed a 6 mile run last night. :) Spin class tonight. :) All positive.

I have a girly few days away from tonight till Sunday so I dont think I will be AF but I really, really hope that I can cut down :)

A brain re-programming is my way forward :rotfl:me thinks!

Have a fantastic weekend whatever you are getting up to and I hope you all achieve what you have aimed for :)

Masses of hugs to you all

    Shaggy 11/31 AF pleeeeeeessssseeeeeeeeee!!

    Hmmmmm

Feb going to be a busy month: - my birthday (what again???), friends visiting for the weekend, going away for our anniversary, maybe even a date night.......... but my target will be 22 AF for the month.

If I don't reach high then I'll never hit the high notes - or something!! :rotfl:

    Thanks Shaggy!

The thought of missing out on two smilies was quite a big motivator!

28/31 please Shaggy (said with some relief)

AND...knowing you lot are here, with no judgement really, really helps :)

What I love is the way that the smilies motivate like a grown-up star chart. Then, although no judgement, I hate the idea of letting such supportive people down.:)
  • 29/31 for me today please. Early I know, but I'm not risking any smilies now!

I speak only for myself when I mention saddos, but I don't know what is sadder, being desperate for a glass of wine or getting excited by the smilies. I've got to get out more.

Missing joe1972. I do hope all is ok.

Really motivated me seeing my next smilie today plus knowing that 2 more are within easy reach now.

I can safely declare 29/31 as working tonight :T

Ha ha ha ha ha ha Shaggy:rotfl:You are a scream - I will definitely absolutely without doubt have that stop button imprinted on my mind when I reach for the glass - fantastic!!!! I will report back on Sunday night and let you know if it worked :)

Sukeyboo - thank you, its comments like these that spur me on...you are a sweetheart :) I am generally a positive person and have my cup (glass) half full most of the time - ha ha I have just realised I should have said 'every cloud has a silver lining' probably more appropriate given the context of this thread :rotfl:

Greytcatlady - the smilies keep us going, we are like kids with our star charts :rotfl:

Maman - I believe that's one of the beautiful things about this thread, I dont think anyone ever feels anyone lets them down - I know Im only a newbie and I can only speak for myself but when I see that one of you guys hasnt made an AF night I totally empathise and in many ways it makes me stronger to know Im not the only one struggling :)

stupotstu - Im with you on aiming high. I tried for 31AF in January, with all the best intentions but am actually so delighted I have reached 11 - if I had only targeted for 11 I dont think I would have done it :)

Phew!! If you are still awake after reading these random thoughts - have a great day, if not when you wake I hope you feel rested :rotfl:
