Thanks for the clarification
Good luck Fruball0 -
A miserable fail again for me. Yesterday tho was a great day to be an Arsenal fan.. much celebrating
so onwards and to try again in June.
Shaggy I will set another 10 afds for sunny June.
Hoping for a month of good news in June. This past week started awfully. A boy in DD's tutor group comitted suicide, a friend of DS 1 from uni was killed in a car accident and a woman I once worked with died. How awful and sad for them and their families. It makes me feel lucky to have a lovely family and friends. I must crack this alcohol business. Am now more concerned with my health having reached 50.
Good luck for June everyone :TTotal weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0 -
Good luck Fruball.
Arsenalbarnie DH was on a ward with some very poorly men. He asked me what I thought they had in common. Smokers? I said.
Nope. All overweight. Brought him (and me) up short.
None of them much over mid fifties.0 -
Congratulations to all who hit their targets and those who have managed a few days AF.
Thank you to everyone for your comments, I know I need to start thinking about how this will affect my health. Like others on here I read an article yesterday where it is believed obesity is causing and will cause more deaths than smoking
I am pleased that I took some of your suggestions a bought some AF wine yesterday. It was a white Zinfadel and actually was quite nice.
So for a change last night I was AF :j:j very unusual for me on a Saturday so quite pleased.
Fruball I understand about drinking more in a shorter space of time but know it doesn't do me any favours either
I got some more AF wine today so feeling good about tonight, want to try to get a reasonably early night.
Have a good week all

Oh not too bad thanks.
I backed him into a corner about taking time off work, got home about midnight last night.
We have fed him lots of iron rich foods and kept him well hydrated!
He has more tests next week.0 -
12/12 AFDs, with determination to make target after celebrating my birthday (Friday) rather too liberally on both Friday and Saturday.
Took mum and sister to lunch on Friday, and as sister drove I had a large glass of wine with lunch. Then walked to a very good local restaurant for dinner in the evening, where DH was good company. Saturday, my eldest son and his family came, two bottles of wine between three of us as DIL is still recovering from surgery.
Today my younger son came, but we were all drinking sparkling water as DIL has just found out she's pregnant (and I was hungover). What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Thank you, leg still swollen, but breathlessness has gone, so must have been anaemia rather than a PE. Last week had CT scan and then on Friday Endoscopy and colonoscopy
Ugh!! You seem to be having every test known, poor you. So pleased they're taking it seriously and being AF must help. Do keep us posted.:)
:T belated Happy Birthday wishes satchmo. Sounds like it's been a much happier time this weekend.:)0
