What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Not sure about tonight yet so I'll hold on calling it. I may go out to eat in which case I'll have a glass. If not I'll be back to post. What matters to me is that I'm in control. I can't remember when I last had a 's*d' it day.:)
  • Pub quiz tonight but am going to stay off the hard stuff and have a diet coke. Which means today is 5/24 please Shaggy. Thank youuuuu x

You really sound like you have got it nailed maman :j

I'm not sure about tonight yet either - we are having friends over for a meal and I may succumb to a glass of wine (or two ;)) but definitely no more than that.

That's where I want to get to, maman - a mindset where s*d it days no longer exist, or if they do, it means chilling out with a book/film and a cuppa and having some lazy time - not cracking open a bottle.
Silly thing is, I never actually enjoy s*d it wine!! It actually tastes much nicer when it's planned for and savoured, imo:)
    5/31 please Shaggy for today.

Only just saw this thread. I've been trying to cut down recently without much success. I'm a pitiful little weeble when it comes to willpower, but this week i've managed to keep a 20 crate of Carlsberg going - Thurs night and there's still 9 left which is a big plus for me. Work is helping as I'm taking any overtime I can get to limit the spare time at my house which I think will just help reduce how much I "look forward" to a beer.
