Thanks. It's been a bit of a struggle this week as I have loads of pasta left over from the weekend (I had family staying). Pasta is so delish but so laden with calories! :eek: Plus, I was out last night for food and drinks. Anyways, all the pasta will all be gone after tonight and then its back to veg!What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

End of June. I'm going to a my niece's graduation sometime in early July and I want to buy something really nice. So I have 4 months to lose 7 Pounds which is very doable (you'd think :rotfl:) - but I guess I would like to lose more if I can. But I will be more than happy with half a stone...What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Mid-week drinking had started to creep in again here so I'm working hard on that. In the past I've said I would love to be one of those people who can have one glass of wine with dinner and that's it. But my glasses are the size of fishbowls and once I open a bottle that's it. So my first challenge is no more weekday drinking!!

That was my first and only challenge MissP and then I excuse myself for special occasions and holidays. I'm pleased if I can not drink on school nights BUT my attitude has changed. On drinking nights I'm having less and I can stop when I've had enough (novel idea eh??). And if I go out and have a single glass I don't just carry on when I get home. Sorry if that sounds boastful. I was just listing my own little successes for me.:o
Sorry to hear about your mum satchmo. Any chance of some respite? With your brother or anyone?
Calling in early again today. I'm off to see Second Best Marigold later with a friend but she's a friend who knows all the best tea and coffee shops so I doubt alcohol will be involved.
