Maybe I don't feel quite ready to give up on moderation just yet. Or maybe I am kidding myself, who knows! But I think I'd like to try for a little longer.

This thread is so brilliant, so supportive and has helped me so much.

I think that sums up the whole ethos of the thread. There's room for all on our wagon, even those who choose to jump off or even fall off from time to time.:)

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Didn't log in yesterday, but was AF, so, together with calling in early for tonight I'm now on 8/21 AFDs
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Declaring early tonight. 7/21 for me so one third of the way through.

This thread is brilliant - it really makes me feel accountable for my actions. I find it really helpful to declare an AFD early on because it feels like I am making a commitment to msyelf (and you lot!) that I'm not going to have a drink tonight. Once I declare, all thoughts / appeal of having a glass of wine that evening evaporate.

    Thanks shaggy x

I find declaring early really helps keep me on track, too - I'm much less inclined to be tempted on an AF night once I've been on here, than I am on the days where I don't get the chance to log on.
    6/17 for today please, Shaggy:)
