No need to apologise, just get back on the bandwagon on Sunday. For you, not us. Have a good night tomorrow0 -
Sorry it's late but declaring 17/31 please.
Have to say though, it doesn't seem to be helping my sleep patterns!
I've just got up and come downstairs for a while because I'm tired of struggling to get back to sleep - it's been like this for most of the week; I go to bed feeling really tired, get an hour or so of sleep, and then spend the rest of the night awake....so, no headache in the morning, but big bags under my eyes0 -
12 please, Shaggy, thanks
Off to spinning class soon :j
Have a great weekend everybody - loving this mild weather, although could do without the rain0 -
Morning all
No, I've not done a runner :rotfl:
I had a blip then took to my bed with a serious migraine for a few days. Almost human today.
Shaggy, I'm on 12, thank you very muchly
Off to catch up now.

Well I've been to the counselling service today that my GP recommended. It was just an initial interview, they take lots of details and get you registered. It was very involved, was in the interview for around 2hrs. Now I'm on a waiting list for a key worker, which should take 4-6 wks. They have lots of treatments and talk-sessions there (acupuncture, discussion groups etc) but he advised I don't take those up until I've seen the key worker. In the meantime I've to attend an alcohol education session for the next 5 wks, this is a condition of being registered with the service. I'm feeling quite positive, and was amazed how much detail he went into with me.
Had 3 AFDs Mon to Wed, but cracked last night, just felt way too tempted. But I din't have anywhere near as much as I normally would, probably around 6 units in total, and spread over the evening. I'd normally drink 6 units in the first hr - so all's not lost. Just got to keep ploughing on. Although as someone said earlier, I'm already making up excuses for having a drink tonight.
Great post thank you. It goes to show that there is HUGE amounts of help out there. You just got to be brave enough to admit you need it.
Hope you get to where you want to be.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Thanks Top Girl, reading my post from last night in the cold light of day has made me annoyed with myself but I will get back on the bandwagon and reach my monthly target.
I think I am more cross as woke up feeling blurgh and not wanting to do all my chores that I had hoped to achieve today. Still onwards and upwards, hope everyone has good day.

I felt like that and I didn't drink! Done the washing/drying and been to Asda, had a bath and got in my PJs, football and Sat night TV for me and 18/31 as there is nothing in and there isn't a cat in hell's chance I'm leaving the house again today xxx0
