Well done Maman, Honey Bear et al.
No joy tonight. Until Monday now. Feel like I've let myself down but it's damage limitation and I'm in bed now, doubt I'll sleep but at least it's only water up here.0 -
Just popping in to say I've added 5 more AFDs to my total so now on 9/16 please Shaggy.
No more AFDs for me until Monday now. Have a great weekend all!0 -
Maman, I've been thinking about your A/F anniversary and the more I do, the better it makes me feel. OH likes a tipple and apart from the days when his team win, he's very good at limiting himself which it seems I can't. For my part, Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries and special events will be difficult. It helps to know you didn't actually feel the need to imbibe and gives me hope I'll be able to cope. So, well done and a big thank you from me.Better is good enough.0

Afternoon :hello:
Sorry I haven't been around, my niece had an A level nightmare day yesterdayand I hae no more AFDs to report.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Hopefuljoy wrote: »Hello Shaggy and friends. I'm not sure how to join your challenge but would like to! I drink too much both for my general health and definitely shouldn't be drinking on anti depressants but the alchohol and depression are strongly linked! My finances would also be improved without the money spent. This is a big step for me as I've never publicly said I want to stop drinking but I don't want to drink this much anymore. Look forward to hearing from you.
Pushing out thefor you. There are 17 days left in August so just let me know how many you want to set as an AF target. Or you can go TF - target free - if you wish.

I have fluffed up somewhere and forgotten to add AF days. I am on 7 as of this evening. Might be 8 but will go with 7.

Welcome hopefuljoy, and well done everybody and all who got the sunnies, and of course honey bear :T
I'm not doing very well, but I am liking how I can be honest on here, and how everyone else is too, and it also highlights back to me certain things I tell myself - like "I've not had wine all week" - reality - I never had wine for 2 nights!!
No updates shaggy, but am still board
(soo glad this isn't a competition)
