What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Just come back from seeing my DGS on his 4th birthday, a joy to be able to pop in, and he's such a delightful little boy. He happily demonstrated how he can spell mum and dad.

I'm a little bit wriggly with excitement as I've just had a call about being put forward for a job, at a decent salary, in exactly my area of experience. It's a little bit more of a commute than I would normally consider, but perfectly do-able. Fingers crossed, as I'm getting a bit agitated.

I'll put the wrigglyness to good use and go for a run.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Back on the wagon today. I'm always pleased to be AF and sometimes wonder why I enjoy a drink so much at weekends?? The trouble is I don't spend long enough wondering.:o

chardonnay, it sounds like you're deliberating whether it's better to not bother. You're making good inroads into AFness. Having soft drinks at the pub is an acheivement, so much more difficult than being AF at home IMO. Well done.:T

Thanks Maman.....I am starting to wonder whether it's worth bothering, you're right! I also agree what you say about wondering why you enjoy a drink so much at weekends - I'm shattered today and I'm sure what booze I had has contributed to that! It's really about habit isn't it - our brain associating the weekend with enjoying ourselves, and that seems to equate to alcohol, as that's what we've brainwashed ourselves to think I guess? I wish I could just not WANT to drink, rather than feel like I'm giving something up. I think I am getting there, and hope by the end of the book that I'll have had some kind of epiphany! :D You sound like you're doing great too!

    2/19 AFD please Shaggy! :)

Oops, think I messed up the quoting there!

I finished May on 21/25 which, while short of my target, wasn't a complete failure.

Can I declare 1/21 for today please?

1/14 please. At least I'm off the mark. Feeling a bit chubby at the mo so hoping to put my food on the same diet as my alcohol. Wearing my stepper again to make sure I do 10,000 steps a day again.

    Kind regards
    Slowdown:)
