29 AFD until yesterday. Scales said STS - could have been worse I guess! I will try hard this weekend

I've been thinking about June and as I'm going to Majorca for a week, my target will be 19 days AF please! :cool:
I'm on a run of 9 AF days at the mo and mostly haven't missed alcohol. I did struggle a bit over the BH weekend when I kept telling myself I couldn't have a drink and made myself really miserable. I then put a bottle of wine in the fridge and told myself I'd have one if I fancied it. That seemed to do the trick for me and I didn't bother! It's strange, but denying myself just made me obsess about what I couldn't have! So now I'm just trying to take every day as it comes.
It's my dad's surprise 75th Birthday party tomorrow so that's going to be interesting for me. I'm still not 100% if I'm going to drink at all, but I've decided that if I feel like a drink, 3 will be my absolute limit. I've bought some Sorelle to take along too (thanks to whoever recommended it by the way!) I haven't tried it yet but will let you know my thoughts.
The lightbulb moment for me came recently - I've got my lovely step-daughter's hen day/night in July and have now also got tickets to see Tom Jones/go to the races the night before. I have been panicking ever since, worrying that I won't be able to stop myself drinking too much, thus ruining the Saturday. I even thought of not going to the concert, even though I have wanted to see Tom Jones for years! How ridiculous is that?! So tomorrow is a big test for me. If I can stick at 3 drinks, I might have a hope of drinking in moderation. If I can't, I think I'm going to have to give up completely. We shall see!
