    Not sober tonight :-(

I intended to be AF, then the event I was at finished early, so I thought I'd enjoy a nice glass of red. Then DH (grrr.... not so D ... H) decided to be ars...y, because I dared to make too much noise during a TV programme (oh, they are SO important), and I glugged the first glass and topped up pdq.

Why do I sink to his level? He is way too controlling. Tells me I'm a bully (oh, yes, hold a mirror up to yourself matey). Anyone who thinks he should do something other than what he decides upon is a bully in his opinion.

Sorry for venting the rage, but otherwise I'll be raging and drinking more.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

The :mad::mad: is coming through loud and clear satchmo. I can't imagine which TV programme demands such attention!

Thanks Maman, I resisted finishing the wine, so that's good.

Thanks for the Hug Maman and the nice wishes Permenantlystressed, sukeyboo.

We went out to dinner last night - very nice group of people, lots of laughing, but I do feel tired the is morning!
I think that I will need to not drink over the coming month - as I'll want to have all the energy I can for hat needs to be done!

Think I need to come back "on the wagon" for June. May has been a disaster, had 3AFDs this month and yesterday I had far too much to drink, not feeling very well today after that.

Well Alex I feel the same as you so we could do it together - how about a dry June?
I've read your diary and I see quite a lot of parallels between your situation and ours. Have you found it helpful having a diary here? I'm thinking of starting one to chart our progress over the period when my husband will be leaving one job and (hopefully) finding another. I'm terrified if I am honest but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I'm not sure I'm up for a completely dry June but I reckon I could do 21 days or so? :)

As for my diary, I used to find it helped an awful lot but recently, I have really been struggling to find any motivation whatsoever and have more confessions with regard to my finances than I dare put on the diary. :o So, I suppose it's whole purpose is currently being wasted as I just cannot face things for the moment. However, it was very, very helpful when I first started trying to "sort my life out".

Hi everyone, just passing through to update. But I can't remember where I was or how many more days I have done. Suffice to say I have been sticking to my 2 nights drinking a week, so my target should be ok. This is what happens when you dont log in daily. Argh.

Right off to read back over the past few days.
    Hope you are all ok
