11/25 for tonight please. I know it's early but always feels better to shout it now. Less temptation later :o

4/16 for today please Shaggy. Got all flustered and stressed earlier and fantasised about wine and a cig. Was tempted by both/either but am doing neither.

Hugs to those who find it a struggle. Can't say I feel in control yet but getting there slowly.

Ruby58 I flet like having a ciggy lately and haven't smoked in 9 years, |I think it was the thought that it might make me feel better less stressed rather than knowing it actually would. After all this time id most likely pass out after 3 puffs!
Feeling headachy still figetty fingers so, im drinking a cup of tea and doing some fiddly knitting and off for another early night. x

    Sleep well all x

10/20 AFDs for me, and a longer run of 4 miles in much nicer weather this week.

I bought a bottle of wine yesterday, with the intention that it will be saved for Saturday night. That's progress for me - being able to have wine in the house and not open it. Mucho pleased.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Hello everyone - really sorry to have gone AWOL but I am not sure what happened to this month!

I have had only 3 AF days and a couple of really heavy nights (a girls weekend away didn't help). I will miss my target but I have decided to not drink for the rest of the month and the only way I will manage that is by coming here everyday.

I'll go and catch up with everyones news now.
    Trying to keep in budget.

    Hi

Well I managed AF on Tuesday but failed in miserable style yesterday. That makes a total of 8/14. Not great I know. Had a bad day yesterday and took it out on a bottle of wine. Raided the nightcap cupboard too. Not good. I will definitely be AF tonight and Saturday as driving.

I really want to resign but know how badly it will affect my family. I will have to find other ways of coping.

    Good luck to everyone today.

    Kind regards
    Slowdown :)
