<Hangs head in shame> Have managed a grand total of 3/14 so far and with the 4-day weekend ahead I dread to think how I am going to make target this month...eeek!
Still, planning on adding one to the total tonight and another tomorrow. May will be a complete write off as I am away on a training course and already planning nights out with friends, then on holiday for 3 weeks, which will not be AF!What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -

Don't hesitate to let me know if I've made a mistake! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Hi Everyone
Do you mind if I come back & join you? Just looking back on old posts & this thread really helped me. While on holiday last year I had a bad cycling accident which saw me off work for 6 weeks, I lost my beautiful 3 year old cat & I was put on beta blockers & sleeping tablets/ant-depressants due to changes at work & being under servere pressure. These are not excuses in any way, Its just been a tough couple of years & I don't want to be slipping back into old ways again, I will not go down that road again. I now know (most of the time) when to press the stop button. I now have a lovely holiday home which is my wee haven, I am feeling the effects again though of drinking almost every night so decided on Sunday that I was coming back on here & had my 1st AF night last night. Can I set the target for the rest of April at 17 & record my first 1/17 please Shaggy:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Welcome back MacPepLive for the moment and plan for the future0 -
2/14 for me please Shaggy. Sorry to hear it's been a tough couple of years and welcome back Macpep1!
I've been itchy and irritable this evening. I had a bad night's sleep and somehow feel cheated that I didn't sleep like a baby even though it was my first AFD in ages. Totally ridiculous.
I think being honest on here is one of the few places I can 'talk' about booze and posting here helps me think about drinking. Also reading everyone else's thoughts makes me feel like we are in it together and can learn from others too.0 -
Super-early call from me for Wednesday (technically today since it's past midnight and I really ought to be in bed), 8/21 please. In April I am taking a break from buying: Books
