Hello everyone,
7 AFD in total please Shaggy.

I hope you find a coping strategy Cuppa Tea that works for you.
Very dramatic, Scatterbrain. Horrible for you to have to put up with the pain after your fall. Have some *healing vibes* for your wrist and elbow. I hope your son is recovering after his surgery, too.
13/30 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
Crikey, Scatterbrain, take it easy and rest up Sounds really tough!
This is not an AFD for me and neither is Saturday (lunching with friends), but apart from that now more or less determined to go straight through until I get to target. In April I am taking a break from buying: Books

Managed the last 2 nights AF (although last night was really difficult, no idea why), so now up to 5/14. Not holding out much hope for the next 5 nights due to the bank holidays, but any AF day will be a bonus. At this rate I am only going to get to 12 this month so I really do need to try hard. Stupid thing is I now I can do it if I really want to as I did the whole of Jan AF.What goes around comes around.....I hope!0

Hi again everybody
I've finished work for the weekend as I'm currently on a phased return and only working mornings. I could really get used to this.
Day 11/28 today for me Shaggy - no plans over the weekend which involve exposure to booze.
Payday today and I'm going to work out budgets/allocations for the month - not drinking certainly helps with the finances.
Big lesson I have learned is not go go shopping after 4pm. After that time I cannot guarantee that I will not pick up a bottle of wine
Hope everyone has a good Easter

Good afternoon to everyone.. Ive started a new account as have lost my old login, but have been here before, and still not managed to quit. I hope everyone is ok with that. I'm just really struggling.
I got dumped by text on April 1st. It was something that wasn't unexpected but the last fortnight has seen me eating badly and binge drinking to unsafe levels. I managed to down a litre of vodka in 2 days, which caused me to react extremely badly to said dumpee. I'm totally ashamed of myself. I'd kept my emotions in check very well, then yesterday turned into a totally deranged horrible person. He's got every right to be angry at me. Horrified by my behaviour. It mustn't happen again. I've got no excuses, just need to get up from this bad place I'm in.0 -
Diyer just take it one day at a time. If you beat yourself up then it generates more negative behaviour and sod it moments. We've all made alcohol mistakes. Look forward not back.
If you're getting dumped by text, then you definitely are better off without him, however much it hurts.Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -
