Scales were very unkind to me yesterday Shaggy, and I am quite disappointed with myself as I put back on 2/3rds of all the weight I lost before I went on holiday in November, I'm back on Slimming World this week so hopefully when I go for my weigh in next weds it won't be quite so bad (fingers crossed)
I'm calling in early for tonight please 3/30. First major challenge for me is going to be Friday night when I normally welcome the end of the working week with a drink or three. What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -

Replacing pies, pastries or the chip shop for lunch at work with something taken from home, and fruit instead of crisps or sweets.
That's me 2/30, sitting having a nice cup of tea.
Well done on the thinking ahead and taking something healthier from home. That should make a big difference very quickly, I'd have thought. I hope you enjoyed the tea.
I didn't lose an ounce when I stopped drinking, even though I didn't feel the need to scoff any more recovery breakfasts! I found I had almost permanent sugar cravings and the helpful people on this thread reminded me that alcohol had a massive amount of sugar in it, so I dealt with them by eating sugar for a few weeks. My weight stayed exactly the same, but boy did I enjoy the biscuits and chocolate! When I cut out sugar I lose 2lbs a week, but I can't seem to do that for more than a week at a time. Must get around to it sometime soon again ...Sorry I haven't been around so much - it's been a really busy Xmas and NY.Shaggyx
I hope you had a lovely time.
4/31 please - and thanks for putting me on the Annual Target list, I hadn't thought of doing that!Better is good enough.0 -
Thanks Shaggy for adding me to the new list - today I am 4/31 a little early to call I know but am feeling good about this evening. Also I start back at my second job this weekend and have been asked to sleep in on both Friday and Saturday night so not only will I be earning a little extra cash there will be no temptation for a cheeky glass (or two) of wine!0

Hello all
4/31 for me please. I have found Dry January soooo much easier this year and was pleasantly surprised to see my AFD total for 2016 was so high. This thread has helped me change my drinking habits in a BIG way. I would say cheers, but somehow that seems inappropriate now.0 -
Hi everyone,
Calling in 3/30 for tonight and a target of 350/365 for 2017. That allows me 2 days per month.
I am however aiming to kick the year off with 100 day AF which should take me to Easter or thereabouts.
Thank you Shaggydoo - will add colours when the kids let me use my laptop.
