Target achieved yesterday, 24/24 AFDs this month
Well done you!!:T
Alex, my theory is that you've achieved your amazing feat on the Mastermind principle: 'I've started so I'll finish' and that each day you did made you more determined you weren't going to spoil the ever increasing total. Amazing will power and just think of the money saved!! Certainly made up for the 'failure' you were berating yourself with in Dryathlon.:T0 -
Finishing Feb with 16/TF as I won't be drinking tonight.
Brilliant well dones to all those who've reached their targets, those who've eked out a couple of extra days above and beyond and those who have done the best they ever have before. Special wellies to Alex, you really picked up the phone and mended it.
I'm happy with progress. I really feel I've 'reset' this past couple of months and will continue to monitor units.
Shaggy, would you take me off the challenge list please. I'm not abandoning, just seeing if I can go it a bit more independently. I'm sure I'll be back on the list officially to enjoy another virtuous month later in the year.
And thank you Shaggy for taking the time to keep us all in check, we can't do it without you and your smilies.:T:A:D0 -
Not long found this thread, I've had 15 AFDs this month, not sure when the last time I achieved that was! I'm very proud of myself - didn't realise there was a 'support thread' so I might come back later, read thru properly and declare a target for next month :-)

Hope to 'see' you back soon BlueDaisy.
Well done to everyone who reached target - especially Alex as we all know what a struggle January was for you :T
As a few of you have also said, I feel much more in control on the evenings I decide to drink - last night I did fancy a glass of wine and that is all I had (well a mini 175ml bottle). I enjoyed it but didn't feel the need to carry on and have more.
Thanks to shaggy for keeping us all in check - you are a star :A
Have a great weekend everyone0 -
Afternoon :hello:
1 more AFD for yesterday. At the moment I think today will be AF too as I have a date with the TV
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Thank you, all.
I'll have to admit whilst tonight will be AF, may as well do the last day, tomorrow I will be enjoying a bottle of wine with Mrs. K. before starting to make headway on my March target.
