What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Early call with 20/21 AF tonight, we had a short break away the last couple of days and I was tempted, but just kept looking forward to my last night of drinking on Friday when we are in the Lake District for the weekend.

Well done to everyone who is doing so well, think Feb has been hard for me as the promise of New Year New Start we have in Jan has officially gone from and Feb has been so dark, gloomy and WET!!!

Also I have such a busy year ahead, all good things such as moving house, rethinking career etc. but it just makes me feel really exhausted thinking about it. Have to remember you don't do it all in a day, just deal with everything in bite size pieces as and when I am able.

18/20 for tonight and determined to meet my target this month so can't afford any slip ups.

As I'm working this weekend I won't drink then either. It's going to be a bit like Dry January at this rate - haven't had a drink since Saturday and won't now until next Friday at the earliest. Then away for a week and my birthday so sure I'll make up for it then.

22/24 AFDs today, and I'm off to a meditation session with DH to a) relax (I need to, have been very anxious and wound up today) and b) research how this guy runs his class. He's supposed to be a great guide, and I'm going to be helping DH to run meditation classes in the North West. I'll do the organisational side, DH will do the teaching/guiding side.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Wishing you the best of luck with this one. I have managed to not have one since the day before NYE - but I'm quite experienced at giving up having done it several times before. Last time was when we were trying for children and lasted >2 years. My target is only to do better this time.

Congratulations :j. Im an experienced stopper as well just haven't quite sussed the stay stopped bit :o I guess any day without the evil weed is a success so good luck to you too hope it sticks for you this time :)

    Calling 14/15 please shaggy
