King S6 There may be some confusion about targets being competitive because I have a monthly target of every day being a non-drinking day and am still amazed and very thankful, more than two years on, that I've made it each month. There have been a few other people who've joined the thread during that time who said they wanted to stop drinking completely but we seem to have lost touch with most of them. Target-free, target specified, made it or not, as far as I know everyone's welcome. I think of it as a collaberative and co-operative thing, and the bottom line is it's a support thread as it says in the title.

Morning all! 16/15 for me please
KingS6, I have been thinking over what you said and I suspect if the thread was a competitive thing, it could become a little tiresome, you know? I find it supportive too. There are many who do more days off than I do and some who do less but I don't really worry about it, just keep on with my 15-day target each month. Sometimes a little competitiveness can help people achieve things, on MSE too, but I'm not sure that is the case here on this thread. But I hope you're not feeling we've ganged up to disagree and I can see how you might assume that.0
