Back after a long hiatus for September please Shaggy, with a target of 22 days. Need to both shed and save a few pounds so this should help.

Evening all - I'm ending August on a not too bad 25/31, which, all things considered, is a wonder!

I'm in the bath as I'm bored ridgid by transfer day and DH has been glued to the screen since he got in...yawn...football...yawn...

Pleased to see some of you have exceeded your targets - well done CuppaTea and debjay - I hope you can see this - for some reason my bold button isn't working
  • Hi last night and tonight are AF so the month has ended up at 11/10

Do you know, I didn't think I could do it! But it's Day 5 - so it looks like I can!

Chocolate is high GI but I was eating it in the evening when I allow myself high GI things.... thing is, once I start eating chocolate I can't stop eating until I've eaten 250+ calories and it sabotaging all my diet plans!

Anyways, my new autumn diet has started....fingers crossed...

Good luck with the diet. My weight is definitely fluctuating at the moment and I need to lose about 8lbs by the end of September to be comfortable in a dress I bought earlier this year for a wedding and I've gained ... a bit. I know it's cheese and sugar that are my personal demons and I thought I was being strict with myself until I realised that goat's cheese wasn't the skinny version I'd thought. Which would explain a lot. Hey ho, onward and upward. Five days without chocolate, though. Wow. Just Wow!

LuckyLise, one of the things I realised but never dealt with was a habit of spending money the day after a binge drinking session. Bringing a drinking habit that's gradually crept up back under control has all sorts of benefits, the very first of which is feeling a lot more switched on within a very few days. Good luck with it.

Isn't it lovely when we exceed a target without even realising we'd done so. That's so great! It may have been a bit quiet on here for August while people were on holiday but it's been a really successful month for a lot of people as well. Good-oh!

    1/30 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.
