    2/29 AFDs for tonight.

I'm just cutting out alcohol, sweets and snacks. Cutting out the alcohol helps me avoid the snacks.

I know that boredom is my enemy.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

2/31 for tonight. We have stopped at services on the long journey home as DH and Small both needed a tiddle and it's now my turn to drive, so haven't imbibed any alcohol in preparation of taxi duties.

Thanks Shaggy for keeping count and motivating us all. Welcome newbies and returnees :D
  • 2/10 tonight for me please Shaggy, so August is twice as successful as July was.

Thanks, Honey Bear, you are still really lovely.

I'm back, having got fed up with myself, my lack of willpower, and lack of AF days.

I'm also back with a huge incentive to lose 2 stone by 14th July 2017 when my youngest gets married at Gretna Green. Maxing the AF days will help considerably with that goal.

So, can I target of 29 for August please, starting tonight with 1/29.

    Satchmo!! Welcome back :):)

1/15 for tonight please shaggy. DH is away and I have no plans beyond work today, and housey tasks this evening so I'm declaring now to keep myself on track.

That would do it for me, too, although laying off the chips would help.

Maman's right. Staying on here and posting helps keep me on the straight and narrow.

    3/31 please, Shaggy.

    Morning All,

Welcome back Sukey and "Hello" to Blanc & Tabithabooboo

Still on 1 but will def by AF tonight taking me to 2 AF so far.
Trying to organise "last" holiday myself and OH may have for quite some time so trying to make it super special. However, never normally go away in August as English summers are so lovely anyway and those holiday firms really do hike up the prices to capture the captive parent audience it seems. Still in Monsoon season in the far east so that rules out that area. It will all come clear in the end I'm sure. Small win on Premium Bonds yesterday too :T

Sorry if this is a bit off topic but my main motivation for cutting down was to stop having so many empty calories. (I know I should probably have had nobler thoughts like health:o). Cutting down on its own wasn't enough so I joined Slimming World. It suits me as it's a healthy way of eating and the plan gave me a structure. I'm a bit evangelical about it because it's worked so well for me. Try taking a look at the 7 day sample menu on the SW site. You'll never go hungry, it's just about eating the right things in the right proportion.:)

    No plans to drink today.

    3 AFDs please Shaggy.
