Congratulation on the win ManPants and thanks for the welcome back.

No alcohol last night so 2/15 for me please Shaggy

I also follow Slimming World like Maman - it really isn't like being on a diet and I have maintained the same target weight for over 3 years now (give or take a few llbs either way) :j

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    2/15 for me please Shaggy

Good news is the health stuff is progressing with good news, but waiting other tests to figure out my symptoms. Hoping its something simple. But have blood tests next week, which strangely I am looking forward to as its including a cholesterol and liver function as well as full bloods, an MOT test if you like. I'll need to fast, so that will be another AF night. My bp is normal, which is good too, but doesn't stop me from wondering whats going on. My alcohol levels are much improved, although still room for more improvement, i'd like to think that isn't contributing. But I guess I will find out by the end of next week.

I am hoping its unrelated as I have been cutting back and do feel in control all the time I come on here and implement eating dinner early evening. I am also trying to gain some weight so eating 3 meal, 3 snacks and other high calorie bits. (Please don't hate me!!!) I know I do have days where I over do it and drink 4 glasses of wine, when I should have stopped at 2, but i'm not as concerned about myself as I was 3-4 years ago. I look back at that time and can see how far I have come. When stressful things happen I am 50% likely to reach for a glass, before it was 100%.

    Hope everyone is enjoying August.

    Morning everyone

I nearly cracked yesterday after a carp day and a row with DH, but settled for a huge cup of Earl Grey tea...Oh, and a whole "sharing" bag of crisps...
2/10 tonight for me please Shaggy, so August is twice as successful as July was.

    I'd say that's 100% better :rotfl:

1/15 for tonight please shaggy. DH is away and I have no plans beyond work today, and housey tasks this evening so I'm declaring now to keep myself on track.

I do find pottering about keeps me from thinking it's 'wine-o'clock'. Did it work for you?

So, I'm on 3/31 please Shaggy. I'm determined to do well this month...

    2/10 please Shaggy

Another fan of Slimming World here :) I've lost 2 stone so far but still a good bit to go. Still too many calories in alcohol but at least I eat more veg now :)

Tried Becks Blue for the first time last night, it's not bad and kept me off the wine! Feel a bit ugg this morning hope it's not the AF beer! That would be annoying if it doesn't agree with me just when I thought I'd found it.
