Last night was AF, might be my last for July, might try for a rare AF Friday.
I hope everyone achieves what they wish for over the weekend and good luck for August. I can't decide whether to set a target or not, hmm.
MP I don't have any words of wisdom for you but I am thinking about you, don't be too hard on yourself.

I can see that lying on a beach in Acapulco feeling overweight would be something you'd remember as an unhappy experience, but look what you got for that fleeting period of being bigger than you thought was ideal. You're a non-smoker. That's huge, a massive achievement, enormous, a bigger than big thing, amazing, fantastic, wonderful and all the rest of the good things we an do for ourselves whereas putting on a few pounds is reversible relatively quickly with the right mindset. You're not polluting your lungs with stuff that does them nothing but harm and you cracked an addiction that I'm told is more difficult to beat than heroin. I think a little extra around the middle for a few weeks is worth it, but then that's just my opinion.
I put on a couple of stone and went from being a lifelong slim person to being, well, what two stone overweight looks like when you're a 5'4" woman with an apple shape. I had to throw all my skirts out because I looked so huge in them. I've only ever managed to lose a stone of it, and that was last year, nine years after I stopped smoking. Was it worth it? Asbolutely, and it's a price I'd pay again like a shot. There's something about perspective going on here, isn't there? I have to be honest, I think I'm just too lazy to do the gym thing, too frightened of being as overweight to let myself indulge too much forever as my poor mother was after she had children and too slovenly to really mind about my appearance that much. First time I've ever thought my slovenliness was a bonus, so thanks for that.
29/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -

Afternoon :hello:
2 more AFDs for Wednesday & Thursday.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
