Love the swimming relay team above, Shaggy!
I am sad to report that I didn't and my stop button didn't work either. However I then had a migraine on Weds night (serves me right) and felt rough all day yesterday so I can add another 2 days to my total 3/16. I might go AF tomorrow ss I am out all day, but there again I might have a drink when I get back home, depends what time it is and how I feel.

That's still three comfortably under your belt, Elusive Lucy. Well done.

I've recently started counselling again, had the first session on Thursday night. Got a lot of stuff I want to talk over and work through and I struggle to do that with my friends and family. Its much easier with someone anonymous.

Sometimes we need the objective observations and thinking of someone who isn't emtionally involved to help us see what's actually happening. If our leg's broken, we go to a leg doctor who does their best to fix it; if our heart's faulty we go to a heart specialist. If our thinking's not making any sense to us while we interact in the real world, some of us need to talk to someone to find out what our mistaken beliefs are. I've been helped hugely in the past by people who can see things much more clearly than I can and I can't praise those counsellors enough. I hope you find some answers, Shy.

Hoping Anita and Man Pants Saturdays went smoothly.

    10/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

Yah DAY 7 cannot actually believe it have got to day 7, after yesterday, wasn't too bad no one was drinking, well only beers but that does not appeal to me, in bed by 10. Wanted to ask has anyone else felt utterly exhausted when given up drinking, I feel drained thought I feel better, I'm eating better too as am on Slimming W.

    So yesterday went really well.

I drank though. Lasted 2 hours at the champagne reception before I crumbled and had very strong Pimms. I didn't act up and didn't spank anyone or pole dance or anything terrible but I did drink. I forgot my AF beers in the rush to get out and there were none available at venue. Only so much fruit juice & water I can take.

Today I woke up hungover but relieved I hadn't done anything terrible so still on 6/29 AF. One thing it has made me realise is that I am glad to be back on AF again. No intention of drinking today but will call in tomorrow to confirm and up my tally. Off to a social engagement now but not drinking. Taking my bestie the car with me. Thank you all for your good messages. Yesterday I sat reading this and nearly cried out of fear and desperation of what might happen.

    Hugs all.
