    Morning Everyone

Just home from a 06.30 Spin Class. Going on holiday in a month so need to look hot for my shorts. ;)

PT session booked in later too. FML!!

    7/29 AF achieved.

Hope you are all winning little battles in big wars. Feeling happy & blessed today. Don't know if it is the endorphin release at Spin thats done it but for now feeling great and AF.

So pleased Saturday went well for you MP although a pretty poor show that no AF beers were available. That was quite an achievement to drink and still be in control. Well done!:T Sounds like you'll have that beach body ready in no time.;)

Incidentally, how is your DH doing?

Thanks mackeroo. I'm hoping today will be the start of a better week. Definitely not drinking today though, always like to get off to a good start on a Monday.

    11 AFDs please Shaggy.

Thank you Maman. It wasn't so much that I stayed in control, it was more that I started later & our car to collect us at Midnight arrived early and I ran out of opportunity. I'm viewing this as a complete fluke rather than a mini triumph with my drinking. So many times I've successfully navigated through something where it could have been disastrous & I think I'm in control. Then, 2 weeks later i'm in another mess of my own (& alcohols) creation. Thankfully, all I can see ahead of me are social engagements where I can take the car or won't feel socially awkward & want to drink.

OH still drinking. Has occasional day off. Never gets into the states I do and doesn't get hangovers. I've stopped nagging based on advice you all gave me on here.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Hi all.

Thinking of everyone. I know a few have had difficult weekends and I think just even having the guts to be on this thread is some sort of victory, so "big up" to us all, is what I say.

On that note I have not actually done very well, had massive binge/s last week and have decided that attempting AF is the only way forward. As of tonight I will be 7 AF days but the other ones were disasters. Let's just say that if I keep this up I'm at risk of ruining my relationship with my OH (of 2 years, not living together) not to mention myself in so many ways. I am now off to the supermarket to stock up on loads of AF drinks ingredients to make mocktails - even though it is the least summery day ever. Wishing everyone love and luck xx
