Can't make target but will try for as near as I can.

Many times over the last 6 months I've failed to hit my target but the important thing is not to give up on trying. I've had some dismally low numbers but this month I'm on target. What has helped me is planning exactly which days I had functions and would drink & on as many occasions as possible offer myself up as "designated driver" to nip any "wavering" in the bud. You'll get there yet StopLurking

    Completed 21/28 AF so far.

Hi there New Me! I know exactly what it's like. :) After a few days back off alcohol though you feel so much better.

    Hello Everyone,
    16 AFD please Shaggy.

Off to see a high flying friend for tea. Luckily I'm driving (ala ManPants!) so I shan't be drinking. I always feel slightly inadequate when I'm with her so just used to get drunk, but I'm so over that now, and I will have a much nicer time as a result.

Hi Manpants and thanks for your encouragement. I did have it all planned as to what days I would have a drink but haven't stuck to it for one reason or another. I will keep trying though, and you are doing brilliantly. I have lurked on here for ages and followed you from before, so I know just how far you have come.
I've already volunteered to drive to a function on 1 July so that will get me off to a good start as I will stick to non-alcohol drinks. We have got a long weekend away in July but should be busy time and don't know the place so probably not too much wine will be taken. We don't go to the pub but we do have wine every weekend and ideally I'd like to be AF 5 days out of 7.
Anyway, got another one yesterday so am now at 11/20
Good luck MP and everyone else for the rest of the month.

Just down and fed up. Hopefully a few AF days will bring me round. Its not just the alcohol but in general.

I am totally with you on this CuppaTea, I am in the same boat and can't shake it off. I'm drinking more than I should and craving junk food, then feeling bad afterwards. Seems like a bit of a spiral at the moment.

Just 10/20 for me so far this month please Shaggy.....appalling!
What goes around comes around.....I hope!
