No alcohol tonight, although I did buy beer and cider for DH. A new blueberry cider (:undecided), lingered by the Amaretto, walked on by and picked up a new pack of socks! Therefore, I am on 27/30 please Shaggy x

Hello Everyone,

Thank you all for your good wishes. For once I am proud to report that as well as my 2 days earlier in the month I've managed to do 3 more this week, including last night & tonight taking me to 5 AF for the month. The D&G shirt has been a big motivator. Loved your poster Shaggy. It made me lol! I'd be suicidal if I was at that stage.

Shakes, sweats and nightmares appear to have passed after monday night which I think was day 21/22 of drinking .... approximately. I was actually able to use the car the last 2 days as I wasn't hungover all day long and in fear of drink driving.

Have a fabulous time in the Caribbean ElusiveLucy. I have been to a great many of the Islands there (not Jamaica as they hate gays & I definitely don't want any blood on my D&G shirts! Joke :-)) White sands & turquoise oceans. Bliss!!!

Stu - I think it's a good idea to change your user name. I think the freedom this gives is part of the solution. I have given one or two bits of info (as I'm sure we all have) which I had wondered about afterwards. If I thought It was being read by the 3rd party it would make me cringe.

Yes, it is but I think you have to contact one of the MSE people and explain something about the situation. I've known it to happen a couple of times and in both cases booze was involved.

Thanks everyone for the best wishes. I know I will have a great time. I just need to make sure I don't go over the top on the rum. I start every holiday with good intentions and they slide very quickly!


SPS, I go to Barbados and whilst their laws are not gay-friendly, I don't think people actually have any problems out there.


I managed AF last night, but I have already reported it, so no chance to increase my count this month. I am going to leave my final figure for April until Sunday as there is a possibility I might go AF on Saturday night as I am OH's taxi. It just depends what time he needs his lift home and what we do afterwards

I have had a day from hell. It involves archaeologists, builders, jack-hammers, car seats, tip runs, childminding and worst of all a cooker fire due to crumpets in the caravan.

I have a big glass of Shiraz. Nuff said.
