  • How're you both doing? Anything fun planned for weekend?

Can you pad her into a vehicle & let her see things other than medics & familiar walls?! Can/have you already you borrow/ed a wheelchair so she can haul herself around a bit?

The worst bit about healing is bumping into the limitations...
As I think you are now very aware!

Right now she's exploring the galaxy because she has stolen my Asus ROG laptop and taken up playing Mass Effect. I don't have the heart to tell her the ending to the final game is terrible.

She's using crutches to get around and the physio has got her putting weight through her injured leg when she does so as well as exercises to build up the muscle around the knee joint.

We have very little planned for the weekend. I get the feeling that she's much more interested in the Horsehead Nebula right now...

The weather was quite pleasant for her last appointment so I took her to a local park where there's a cafe and she had a mocha outside. She plans on borrowing some ideas from that cafe's menu for her cafe. :)

Hello there. Mostly things are well here, I've been tired lately and getting behind on some projects but nothing too major.

My darling wife started going back to work, although not full time. Just a couple of days a week. Her assistant is picking her up - I get the feeling someone's going to be getting a pay rise soon. :rotfl:

Her wrist seems fine now, although she has been advised to keep it in a support thing overnight for a few more weeks and she can walk about unaided for periods of time, although it causes her knee and calf muscle to ache if she over exerts.

Alas, I had to reschedule the trip to the Channel Islands, not because she isn't fit to go but because some rubbish came up at work. They were nice enough to pay the fee for changing flight dates though, so we're going next month instead.

She's finished the first two Mass Effect games now as well, yes. :D

Nothing much else to report, really.
