  • Feeling quite chirpy this morning after I managed to make some progress in the office (aka dumping ground yesterday). It wont be done in a day - thats what I need to get my head around. My long term goal is to make it presentable enough so I can actually work in there instead of at the kitchen table.

Two paperwork jobs also ticked off. This only happened because I kept at it until 9pm last night. Need to get OHs bills out today or we wont have anything to pay the mortgage with next month!!

Off to footie this aft with the boys - who were a nightmare last night falling out and arguing. DS1 is being a bit "difficult" at the moment and its hard to get DS2 to understand why. But anyhow they hugged and made up before bed and today is another day.

Going to make some scones and muffins for pack ups, then take doggie out. Had such a lovely walk with him yesterday.

Tomorrow promises big yellow sunshine's on the weather forecast so will leave any more washing until then I think.

    Morning all

Very pretty and frosty here from the DR - other windows covered in condensation to that is my next job, WM is on.

Going to make sure I get a bit more time outside today, I'll do a HHC in the back garden and DH can help me fill the log store (if we have anything ready).

Flying is hoover and mop downstairs, the rest will be ok until tomorrow.

I have put the stair gate across DD bedroom doorway  she hasn't seen it yet. Naughty mummy!

Just having elevenses, kids are having baby food :o they love those yoghurt pot sized fruit purees so we still have those from time to time when they are on offer. I'm having yoghurt.

The gammon has been finished off in the oven, I've finished cleaning the garage rug (but still might need a couple of spot attacks) and the WM is on. I have a bit of ironing to do too.

Might take them up for a bath soon.

Oh I've also been in the boiler cupboard for my decorating supplies, and put everything I need in one box, easy access. I can do a bit of glossing (satining!) during the week when the littlies are in bed. Then just emulsioning at the weekend!

Right, I'm off to find out which bed I got for DS... And order another!!!

  • Hello :)

I spent all yesterday afternoon doing my dads VAT return & DD had a sleepover here. Consequently the house is now a tip. Hopefully its only surface clutter but going to do a HHC to sort it out.

I have a load of paperwork jobs that still need doing....

    · [STRIKE]Start VAT return - done yay[/STRIKE]
    · Sew on pony club/scout badges & hem up some trousers - will do this in front of the TV tonight
    · Start my toots list - hmm - maybe tomorow :o
    · Plan the itinerary for my hol (we're doing a road trip of SoCal & we need to book accomodation) Work in progress
    · Keep an eye on ebay - I have 50 items listed & need to pack stuff as its bid on to save a nightmare packaging day next Sat. 4 items bid on now & ending over the weekend. I need to buy some bubble wrap
    · [STRIKE]Sort out school letters pay for music lessons[/STRIKE]
    · Deal with the massive pile of bills that have arrived this week & update family finances

TD on but that is all today so far.. I ordered a steam mop (did I tell you this last night?) with a handheld bit so I can wash the stair carpet. I also ordered a couple of long handled feather dusters for dewebbing.. I am most excited about those coming!

Just deciding on my next knitting project.. I think it might have to be Dots pink jumper.. Then I am doing Squeaks nursery cardigan.

DH has moved the TV and table back to the pre Christmas place so I've dusted in the LR. Whilst everybody is home I may get help moving the furniture and hoover underneath.

It has gone cloudy here so gardening not appealing. Think I'll do just 15 minutes sweeping out the log store. I did wash and fill all the bird feeders whilst the sun was shining and washing is on the line.

It appears my brothers birthday present didn't arrive  yet it says delivered. Just emailed the company, they will have to redo it.

Just having lunch, kids on second helpings of gammon, and only DD is dressed :o and only because she wanted her Rapunzel dress on.

But ordered a bed for DD and she has seen the stair gate and not yet freaked out...

Ironing done. Heading upstairs after lunch...

Just shuffling money about for DD1's new house.. they don't get paid until Friday so money is being scraped together from all over the place .. ooh.. just remembered my mother owes me some.. I'll nag her :p.. I need to buy fruit, veg and milk today... and fill the freezers but that will be ok until Tuesday..

I need to get Peaches a new collar as she came home naked last night.. she is chipped but tends to go walkabout so wears a collar so it is obvious she has a home which seems to work. I had to place her under house arrest when she went off for 3 months one time.

well.. ebay listing it is then.. I have some large items I need to go.
