I've been ironing for ages and my back hurts. This is because in doing it bare foot. I find that if I have a slight heel it's ok. Must be something to do with pelvis position.

2 washes done. TD in progress. Tesco have been and delivered enough until Tuesday when they deliver again.

I'm yawning already after my early wake up. So unfair!

    Afternoon all :)

Hugs to everyone who needs them.

I did absolutely nothing flying wise on Thursday or Friday. I'm still feeling under the weather so I wont attempt to catch up apart from WM, TD & a tidy through.

Due to yet another b@lls up by my late mums solicitor, my dad has now had a tax penalty notice, which of course he faxed to me to deal with. I've spent the morning sending a snotogram to the solicitor & a grovelling appeal letter to the tax office. The stress of it all sent me over the edge and I ended up crying all over DH :(

I have a load of paperwork jobs that still need doing....

    · Start VAT return - my next job
    ·
Sew on pony club/scout badges & hem up some trousers - will do this in front of the TV tonight
    · Start my toots list - hmm - maybe tomorow :o
    · Plan the itinerary for my hol (we're doing a road trip of SoCal & we need to book accomodation) Work in progress
    · Keep an eye on ebay - I have 50 items listed & need to pack stuff as its bid on to save a nightmare packaging day next Sat. 4 items bid on now & ending over the weekend. I need to buy some bubble wrap
    · Sort out school letters pay for music lessons
    · Deal with the massive pile of bills that have arrived this week & update family finances

Idea for next week - comments please from you all

I thought as we are hopefully getting straight now after Christmas to mix it up next week. I was thinking along the lines of really concentrating on one room, giving it a good declutter and deep clean and backing this up with a keeping on top of the rest of the house with the basics at the same time? Please do say if you'd rather stay as we are and if we are going for 'a room in a week' do you want to suggest a room or for me to make it general and you all choose your room?
Dusty I don't feel I should really comment, as I only flippity-flap as my health allows; I'll happily pootle along with what everyone else wants, and do my own thing if necessary.:o

However, this is perhaps a good time to say Thank You to everyone here for keeping me going, and keeping me sane (well, as sane as the Wolf is ever likely to be:D).:A:A:A:A:A
Not been on for a couple of days but I've an excuss ma ludd

DH went to Hosp on Thursday, end result is that he has to have another procedure done at out hosp and then Oxford take over and he's going to have a major operation as soon as it can get fitted in [not Kidney removal than goodness] all this means that he won't be back to work for a long time and that means he'll lose his job but hey ho we'll cope, ESA has been applied for, I can't start job hunting until after he's had the Op but I will do then if needed [all depends on his recovery rate]
Helen (((HUGS))) this has all been just so awful - I'm so sorry thet it means DH will lose his job (is that legal??) When the time comes I do still have a list of websites Mr LW used for jobhunting - you have only to ask and I'll pm them to you. I realise this is a long way in the future. Posi-vibes by the barrow-load for you both.

Flying wise - what have we achieved today? Let's see...
    • Done 2 x WM loads
    • Called at GP surgery with photo ID to register on their shiny new repeat prescription system.
    • Been into town for F&V run (total spend: £3):money:
    • Changed bedlinen and loaded WM ready to run overnight
    • Cleaned compost caddy (the little one that sits on the drainer)
    • Cleaned bath and bathlift, and washed bathlift covers
A large amount of the above, it has to be said, was done by Mr LW.

He's rattling on about going to look for a new car; I don't really see that he needs me along, as he knows what he wants; the only criteria for me is that I can get in and out reasonably easily, and that my wheelchair will fit in. As he's looking at something very similar to the Honda Jazz we have now, that won't be a problem.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Ruthy - if you're going to the supermarket anytime soon keep an eye out for discarded bubble wrap in the fruit and veg section. (Apple boxes; mushroom boxes)

I spot it, ask if I may take it and I've never been refused yet;)

Just pottering round for me today. I do have a lot to do but I had the most awful panic attack yesterday. It really knocked me for six, I felt like I was going to die :( so I've decided to take it very slowly.
DD2 had a friend to sleep last night and they both worked on the girls room this morning. Washing picked up, beds striped and remade, carp under DD2's bed tidied and sorted (so I've been told  ).
I sorted through and tidied the airing cupboard. Got rid of some bedding and worn out face cloths.
Bedding washed and tumble dried. Dark wash on, including DD1's work clothes & DD2's school uniform.

LW - thanks :], they will end up sacking him eventually, he's been off 6 months now and I think he'll have another 6 months grace before they do the dastardly deed, they aren't paying any sick money etc but they will want him off their books so they can get someone else in, all legal and above board providing they do it the right way, they have just had an independant health assessor hold a telephone interview with DH, they wanted to see him in person but if DH had to cancel because he couldn't attend due to chronic pain they wanted to make him pay £275!!! You can imagine what he said to that, so they done it on the phone, they have put that once he's fixed he will be able to work but no-one knows yet when that will be, they have also put that they think its bordering on being a disability so that will help with ESA :]

So far today I have dropped DD at her Dads, done some shopping, done paid for ironing, had a snooze and now I'm internetting :]

Yesterday I made some more craft bits for a fair I hope to do in July :]
Projects made for craft fair - 40 :)
    1st fair on 13/4/14 :j

I hope your DS is ok, bossy

I have been out today to buy cup hooks (rock n roll ) and brown dye for DD's hair as, surprise surprise, school have objected to the purple. I tried to tell her but she never listens. I keep trying to remind myself that her single-minded stubbornness and determination will be fantastic traits to get her places when she's an adult but right now, I could quite cheerfully strangle her :)

Ironing basket emptied, kitchen blitzed, bathroom cleaned and second shower curtain installed, 32 million loads of dishes WUDUPA (or so it feels like). Just about to bang an ungodly amount of sausages into a casserole and have a well-earned cider.
