Morning all,
Lots of hugs and healing vibes going out. It seems everyone is having a hard time at the moment.
Another busy day yesterday so being very kind to myself today. I'm suffering with this cold that appeared out of nowhere but can't help wondering if that is what made me so short-tempered on Thursday at work. Right a few hours paid work plus pottering around getting jobs done for the rest of the day. I'm not getting dressed and treating myself to a nap this afternoon.

Good morning flylady friends.
I was really looking forward to a lie in as I've struggled to rouse myself for school all week. Saturday however I am staring at the ceiling in the dark at 6.15. So annoying!
I've had a good sort out in the utility room so far this morning. I've not done any washing yet as I'll wake the littlies if I go hunting for dirty washing.
I've emptied the maiden and have approximately 90mins ironing to do so I might start that.
Time for another cuppa I'm making a pot so shout if you want a mug.0 -

Yeah I was awake early too. Trouble is as soon as I move DS2 will hear me and get up too and I know he was late to bed last night so I laid there trying to relax and just thinking about stuff that needed to be done.
I will come round for a cuppa and do your ironing (I quite like ironing, sad I know) if you help me sort our office. I just dont know where to start ....
Maybe getting out of my jim jams and putting my contact lenses in would be a good first step.0 -
Morning all
The sun is shining so I'm definitely doing some outside bits today. Going to put the WM on first and check my list from yesterday, probably HH will see lots of it finished. More financial stuff to sort out later.
DS3 feeling much better today, non school day so will be interesting how he is on Monday. He's sitting with fluffy cat on his lap playing candy crush.
DS2 away on a driving lesson
DH has 5 huge boxes of CDs to be picked up and hopefully a tidy sum to go in the bank account.
Best I move. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I need to sew her OH's jumper together today, go to shoe shop with Squeak and OH is taking DD1's OH to the recycling place with his tat.. I'm sat in chaos and the kids aren't even here
Been up to town. I only wanted one of those plastic hanging shoe organisers but I've spent a fortune. I have a couple of small gifts for DS birthday, a rather large joint of gammon, spare hats for DD, storage bits, a microwave pressure cooker I could probably live without
And various other gibble. I have a lot of putting away to do, and I want to wash the SC I used last night, so I can soak the gammon...
Meeting a friend at 2 to book our holiday! :T
Then going to collect littlies. Mum thinks DS has tonsillitisalthough he does have quite enlarged tonsils anyway, and she is very good at calling a sore throat tonsillitis
but apparently he hasn't eaten - not a good sign with him, he's been ravenous all week...

Morning all!
DD was up at 6am,washed, dressed, eaten a 'bits' breakfast (ie grabbed various things out the fridge instead of making toast :rotfl:) and finished watching a film by 8amI told her to carry on with her homework which she did. I got up at 9am :rotfl::rotfl: She still hasn't finished her homework, but she has cleared up most of the mess she made cutting and sticking, searched for the back off her earring but failed to find it (I'm thinking its gone down the back of the sofa now), sorted her Christmas sweets out into types/brands (:rotfl::rotfl:) and left at 10.30am with Ex to go for her dress fitting. I've had breakfast, put the livingroom back together and watched Martins programme from last night.
My plan to go to the market has been cancelled. Its only just stopped raining and the butcher is usually gone by midday so its not worth going. Also I am freezing and can't seem to stay warm for more than 10mins. Even now despite me being warm, my feet feel like ice despite wearing thermal socks with fluffy socks and then fur lined boots and my fingers are starting to get cold. I've decided to stay home, do the ironing/cleaning, have a good sort out of the fridge as there's loads of 'fresh' salad & fruit in there to use up (I'm feeling a bits tea is in order aka empty the fridge contents that needs using up for a buffet style tea) and work out what I'm going to order with my last delivery-pass delivery from Mr A. I won't be renewing it until December but instead getting one monthly delivery of heavy or bulky stuff like soap powder, big saver packs of toilet roll etc which I struggle to carry back from the shop. I've even set a separate budget for that shop
I also have £15 left from this weeks budget so I can afford to spend a little extra on this delivery
Off to find another pair of socks to wear, make another hot drink and look through my recipe book to see what else I want to make. The pizza last weekend and the low-fat chicken tikka masala last night were a big hit with DD:j

I've been sat here doing surveys etc since my last post. At least I was making 'money'
:rotfl:
Just had a text from ex, DD has irritated her ankle injury so they're on their way back. They're currently in Kendal so they'll be a while. She can park herself on the sofa and rest said ankle while she does the end of her homework, then work on clearing all the programmes on the dvr. Think I might put my programmes on the TV now, then maybe I'll be able to format the dvr disc tonight or I might watch them tonight when DD has gone to bed as there's nothing worth watching today for us.
Best shift myself and do something as this isn't getting any housework done.
