    WM is on

Just noticed the guttering at the back is over flowing, so must have leaves and such like in it, need to get that unblocked, but not in this weather.

I am rather annoyed my OH has just bathed the dogs and then 'cleaned' the bath he has used neat bleach which he said came out red and now my bath is very obviously stained.

Is it normal for bleach to turn red? Its less then 2 months old but it has been opened, I never normally use neat bleach on anything but its always looked clear to me...... Oh bum fluff the landlord will be over the moon when he eventually finds out I am sure.

you don't have cillit bang do you? isn't that a horrible red colour and stains like billy-o?? It will probably wear off in time.

    Morning all :D

Thanks for the well wishes for DD's ankle. She's hobbling a little more this morning but I think it's just early morning stiffness. She took a painkiller before school and has 1 in her blazer pocket for lunchtime. Unfortunately, looking at her timetable, she's all over the school campus today and upstairs for a few lessons. Hopefully she should be okay, but I'll let her rest it tonight when she gets in. I guess its one way of her getting out of washing up:rotfl:

So far today I've done a small wordsearch (before DD went to school AND before coffee :rotfl::rotfl:) as I'm trying to do my own form of brain training by doing a puzzle book from Christmas 2011 which I still haven't finished :rotfl: I've also caught up with online stuff, I just need to do email and finances on my laptop (currently using DD's as its faster than mine and allows me to play videos).

Off to join in the HHC, with HHdailies for me. Upstairs needs doing, and I'll put a washload on as well. Anything else will be a bonus ;)

Hi to newbies and returners, lovely to see you all!

Did everything on the list yesterday apart from declutter desk but have to say the 2 bathrooms look beautiful. Our en-suite window was [STRIKE]disgusting[/STRIKE] needed a bit of work doing and now it's transformed the whole room so thanks for that :) Also vacuumed right through.

Glad it's the kitchen today. I've let things go so DH going to do a couple of bits and when I get back from beauty parlour (ouch) going to attack the kitchen with a vengeance.

Thank you Mrs MP. That's what I've been doing but it doesn't show up on the preview. I'll give it another go later when I update the [STRIKE]list[/STRIKE]. Oooh think it might have worked this time!
You have to refresh the preview before you can see any changes you've made (just click on "Preview Post" again).

It's lovely to have so many people wanting to come to the York and/or Birmingham flymeet. Sorry they're too far for many of you, but I'm sure that over time other people will set up flymeets in their own areas and eventually we'll cover the whole country! Just name a date, place (it helps if there are good transport links) and coffee shop and someone will want to join you :D

I have written one letter his morning out of about 6 which need to be sent off today. We have SW in half an hour and I'm not even showered or dressed  Must dash........

Morning all. Did sleep very well last night, lots on my mind and the wind and rain beating on my bedroom window didn't help.
Woke up to no heating or hot water this morning  I've phoned the H.A. and was told someone "should" be out within the next 24 hours  but they can't give me a time
I've had to cancel my appointments for the day so I can wait in. DD2 is under the weather, not sure how much is faking it and how much is real, but as it's been going on for a few days I've let her have today off. She's back in bed fast asleep, which makes me think it's not all faking or it would have been the "I'll lie on the sofa" business.

Just going to have another quick coffee (I'm so chilly) then start on the kitchen. Must make sure everything near the boiler is clear for when the heating bloke turns up

    Morning ladies.

Hope DD's ankle recovers quickly Nicki

How are you feeling today frodders?

Someone has split the hose on the Dyson. I'm not happy. Cake crumbs are still over the stairs and I will have youse a dustpan and brush.

The pull to Westfie1d is very strong. If I don't have the tools for flying I'm excusing myself.

    Be back later ...
