    Debt-free and Proud!
Well I appear to have lost the post I typed yesterday, so I'll try again!

It's been forever since I've been properly flying on here, however at least some of the principles did stick and the house is looking pretty good. Having said that, I'm now 2 weeks post (c-section) baby and if I don't make a little more effort to get organised things are going to get messy very quickly - there's so much baby clutter ready to be unleashed!

My new year's resolution is to be a proper flylady and keep a tidy house to welcome visitors into and ward away the BD. Having said that, I appear to be doing nothing but breastfeed and nap at the moment, so I'll have to fit it into my busy schedule! :rotfl:

Hope everyone else is well, and lots of sticks and spoons to all who need them... Going to try and sneak a bowl of soup while little miss is quiet, but we'll see how long that actually lasts for :o Obviously the second I typed this she started doing her most attractive nappy face!

Amyloofoo pleased you are through your 2 weeks of C-section recovery. Very nearly on the way to normality now :) I remember it well, look after yourself and don't be tempted to so too much.

Kitchen done but I admit to just hoovering the floor and not washing it.

Bedding on second spin then TD

Daily jobs upstairs (still have our bed to make!)

I'm having a cuppa but should be a coffee a so tired and have to do a couple of hours work this evening.

Still, I'm pleased that my living space downstairs is looking orderly and clean but most of all I feel in control and organised. :)

More sticks for your BD here, LW, big long ones so he can't get back through the door with them in his mouth any time soon. And GWS to your DD, skinty, very stressful to happen when she's away from "home".

Units all wiped down, as are the WM, fridge and freezer. I set the timer on my phone and it didn't even take 15 mins, I need to remember that when I'm next procrastinating over it.

Emptied all the bins, I won't mention how many empty cider bottles and cigarette packets I've chucked :o

Loo bleached and scrubbed, I need to add a new toilet brush to my shopping list, no amount of bleach is getting it white anymore.

I'm off to look in the bathroom cupboards and see what's in there. I may be some time…

I'm all behind after getting a phone call from my best friend in tears. It seems that her and her husband have been asked to leave the drama group they go to, that I help out at. She's really hurt as it's run by her friend. Her friend has said that my bf has been bullying her
I have since received a call from said friend saying she hopes I'll carry on helping but she understands if I don't due to my long friendship with bf (30 years).
I really don't want to play piggy in the middle and I see that happening :(
I then had a message from bf's husband asking I was still friends with said friend on fb :( so I'm guessing she's deleted them :(

All I've done in the kitchen is clean the surfaces, clean the cooker hob and loaded the DW.
I woke DD2 up at 11 and she had a boiled egg about an hour ago. She's now watching children's rubbish on tv and I'm waiting for the heating bloke, I had a call saying he was coming this afternoon

Oh, Helen, no, talk about life kicking you when you're down.:( I wish to goodness there was something I could do to help.
Look, a word to the wise, based on when Mr LW had to go for JSA (as it was then). They'll treat you like scum, talk down to you, make you feel like you're lower than the dirt on the floor - don't let them get to you, they do it to everyone. Mr LW was asked, when he went to sign on one time, "How do we know you've applied for all the jobs you say you have?" as if they assumed he was lying. This sort of attitude, sadly, is their normal practise. From personal experience, the ESA form is absolutely vile; but as you say, needs must. Hang in there, and have a bundle of Wolfy strength vibes for good measure.
Good luck; hoping your poor DH isn't being dragged down by all this.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Clean fish tank.
    Do the ironing.

    Wash bedding from main bedroom.

If it's deleted from the list then it's done.

I've also tidied ds1s room & my bedroom & hoovered both. Also hoovered the landing & the stairs.
