Echo Skinny's comment and hope the lie down has helped Rach.

Oh crumbs, yes teachers strike this week. That is a PITA for the financials.

Yes, ride out March and straighten things up next month - sometimes it goes like that. I've downgraded my payments this and next month, but having a plan and it still going in the right direction is good enough in my book. :D

I seem to have become ever so slightly addicted to OPing the mortgage. I'm sure the novelty of it will wear off and I'll be rushing back to get chunks off the CC before the 0% runs out :D. All debt though!

Not at all MiT - gotta have some fun and enjoyment along the debt busting way and it cost you zero Sat night, how good is that.

It was lucky I didn't have a mouthful of tea when I read your comment though as I'd be looking for a new keyboard by now :rotfl:

  • Naughty MIT :T

Oh my word I felt soooo rough in work yesterday. What bliss to get home and hibernate.

Way better today and busy day ahead  I never go to the doctors but have booked appointment for Weds morning as I'm fed up of getting everything going although I try and look after myself. Need energy for my job otherwise I just can't keep up and I'm competing with all the fresh young spring chickens!!!:rotfl: Need to get blood tests (as didn't go a few years ago...whoops!) and want to investigate a suspect hernia...I have a long list so they better watch out...I'm coming! :rotfl:

Also getting my hair cut before my groupon voucher runs out.

I have so much work to do it's unreal. Two of my best friends and colleagues are leaving and we are doing a 'spring fair' that I'm organising as usual. More like Winter bl**dy fair! Lots of data crunching

I'm supposed to do loads of outdoor activities today but the weather is cold and wet!

    Have a good Tuesday xx

PS forgot to mention...on Wednesday picking up a computer (possible missing lead) and some frozen food being chucked by moving friend..very MSE!!

Hope your day went well and good luck with the docs tomorrow.

Me too for a hair cut :D Last minute appointment for early tomorrow, can't wait to be able to see again as fringe has gone mad. Used to take the sharpest kitchen scissors to it, but well, I can't do anything in a straight line, so you can imagine the result :rotfl:

Are you on a picket line tomorrow or can you sneak off and chip away at the mountain of work you have?

DS's school is fully staffed and open, so a normal day here, which of course he is unimpressed about! :D

  • So.... went to docs and as unfortunately this particular lady was disinterested and couldn't wait to get me out the door  Well at least got the form to get my bloods checked so all not lost. After my burst of energy on Tuesday felt rubbish again yesterday. Managed to get to A$DA and feel guilty about spends :(

Collected a dinosaur of a computer which I think looks great but my DS was like...'mum that's horrible!' :rotfl:If my other breaks down I now have a spare. :jGot loads of frozen food too which is great!

My DB is coming to stay on Saturday (last minute) so have had to shift round all plans. Have now decided to stay home on Mother's Day as mum is going away anyway. Save on petrol and eating out which I can't afford. Have got her flowers and bits.

Feeling overwhelmed as lots of work to do at weekend with my brother and kids around...but we'll see!

  • Beware of collecting old computers. The next step will be the multiplying box of leads and cables that will lurk under a desk waiting to strike. That's if my OHs behaviour is atypical in this regard.

  • Ha ha INOD that made me laugh. My son has many boxes of 'essential wires'. He was helping my friend to sort her computer out and he asked in all innocence where her box of wires was as he just assumed everyone had this magical box. His incredulous look when she said she didn't have any wires still makes us laugh.
