  • Ahhh how lovely to come back to such fantastic comments xxx :D

Especially since I've had the dreaded PMT today! I've behaved like a freak but calmed down now thank god!

My mum was ill so only decided to come at the last minute. I was so happy for the company :) The drive down was fantastic. I was all positive and chirpy...must have burned my mum's ears off :rotfl:

It was a great break. My kids played out ALL DAY (even DS) so I got peace and they got freedom and exercise...all good stuff.

I spent on a few treats. Bought DS some new jeans x2 from Tes(0
(he is not a fashion snob thank god and they fit him well...he's a big boy) bought some underwear (good value F&F) lovely fit. DD some new wellies and a cheap wetsuit :rotfl: She is crazy about the water :) Mum took us out for a meal one night. Went for a walk on a scenic route each day. Sooo beautiful, could have cried coming home. Had fish and chips first night (tradition) :D

On route home took a detour with sis and kids to nan's new flat. Looks gorgeous and cosy with all her stuff brought back from IOW :j Unfortunately she is spending LOADS trying to get the money that was stolen back :(:(:( Will take the movie Philomena to watch on Wednesday and have a sleepover with DD.

House looked like a bombsite on return and has stressed me out since!!!!! Having bad PMT has totally magnified my reaction and the sight of my DS wandering around in his PJs for the second day in a row made me let rip!:mad::mad: Poor things! However, both my kids are sooooo lazy! I swear DS has stepped over the hoover a million times (I left it in the living room in the middle of the floor!)

My lawn mower broke and anything I do on the computer doesn't work (always when I have damn PMT!) Everything seems an overwhelming mess! If I do the kitchen, the living room is a state, If I do indoors, the garden needs 10 years worth of work! Never ending! Hope I calm down tomorrow as I'm annoying myself!

Hope you are all well. Thank god the sun is shining!

Back tomorrow. I missed this place BADLY! xxxxxxxxxxxxx:D

Welcome home and lovely to see you :j

What a brilliant holiday you had, fantastic to hear that. I'm guessing the car behaved itself too :D

Grr to the PMT :kisses3: Take things in bitesize chunks (and an evening primrose capsule if you've got any - usually good for that). Sending :easter_ba and a :coffee:

Ah, s*d getting everything done - enjoy the sunshine it's here for the week apparently. to lawnmower though - I really REALLY want artificial grass...well it's becoming a need as it's more like a pot-holed road since the dogs have churned it up :rotfl: . Can you borrow one off a neighbour in the meantime?

Great to hear your Nan is settled, sorted and cosy. Ashame about the costs involved in getting what is rightfully hers back :( I really hope there's a happy ending to it though.

Chin up Rach, relax with a glass of vino or a cuppa tonight and tomorrow is a new day (with sunshine :D).

    xxx

  • Yes I've had loads of tea and loads of chocolate :D Feeling better and feel silly to get so worked up by 'stuff to do'. I think it's because I only have limited time before work engulfs my life so every minute counts.....trying to cram too much in until I become a raging banshee!:eek::eek:

Going to start tomorrow by planting some Geraniums with DD in pots and then have another go at sawing overgrown branches etc... got to clear out living room, cook and then chill

Feel so much better coming 'home' to MSE land...this has kept me sane for the past year...you lovely people xxx:easter_ba

    Lurker popping up!

Glad you had a good holiday.

I have cured my son of lazyitis, I keep encouraging him to invite his 'friend' round - you should see the amount of cleaning he does:rotfl: (Mainly from his room but at least it is not a pit)

Also just wanted to mention a great tablet for PMT. I used to be like you, I would shout and scream and cry a lot for 1 week a month - my DH would always say 'Is your period due?' :mad:which of course just made things worse :rotfl:

Anyway I read an article a few years ago about Agnus Castus and last year (I think but might have been longer) I looked up the article again as I was fed up of the monster I became every month. Then I brought some....

...well what can I say - life is amazing, I have no PMT, my periods are light - it is heaven!!

DFW also takes them and when she gets mardy I remind her to buy some more:rotfl: (she won't mind me saying that).

If you read some articles online most of them mention people taking it to regulate periods as they are trying to conceieve but in amongst that are the people who take it to help with PMT. I think the article I read years ago was in the Daily Mail and was done by Tamara Beckwith.

I take 1000mg per day (most shops like H&B only sell 400mg) - I only take this dose as this is all my little independent shop had and I feel on top of the world:A

I am in no way connected to the manufacture or supply of Agnus Castus!!
