Half term here 2 weeks away:( Sounds like you need the break sooner rather than later - down burn your self out so you are cream crackered for week off!

  • Thank you Ali and Ig

Need half term now! Roofer went on the miss (think I missed him when I dropped kids)

Forced self to do little things ala Ali :rotfl: and feel like I've at least achieved something! Hung up a few clothes :T

Kids back and DD came in with the thickest make up all over her face! For a few hours of peace I'm gonna have to get used to all manner of things from the new 'step mum'.....I've been a step mum myself so been there done it and worn the T shirt!

What does life have in store for me that's what I want to know?

  • Exes are PITA .........YES AGREE
Stepmothers.........hmmm mine have one but they have minimum contact with her. Years ago I made the point to my ex that his time with the kids was not so he could take them to visit friends and go on the lash with his new wife and obviously she took the nip and now leaves the house when they are coming over. Pathetic really. My DD is nearly 20 now but she now chooses to see them as little as possible.

So many bugs going round just now. My facebook is just full of folks getting sick. Hope you feel better xx

  • Up and surprisingly organised although rubbish sleep! Lots of thoughts run through my brain in the early hours...trying to process....sometimes work is a welcome distraction (did I really say that?)

Am making kites today (don't really know what I'm doing!) It could be worse! Anyway, said I would go out after work with friend for birthday but that means a lot of waiting around as she can't get there till 7. will be asleep by then. Am driving so will keep it cheap!

    Take care all

    Happy Monday!!!!!

  • Internet dating  well it's a bit of a distraction but don't hold out much hope!

Friend was able to make it for 5 :T Spent money again (not being an :A this month :o ) but had a really genuinely nice grown up time chatting and being silly and eating nice food. Have eaten so much pudding today. Really got to rein it in!

Today went quite well at work so not bad considering...:)

    Four days to go...:j

  • Although I've spent money that could have gone to debts this month I realise that I watch what I spend like a hawk now so nothing is spent without thinking :)

Long day today but feel alright after sleep.

Bought milk and dry cat food already (much to cats disgust!)

Have a great day people x

  • Office day thank goodness ;)

Am full of cold :( limping towards half term........

Was thinking about how long it's going to take me to reduce these CCs  at least it has all stabilised and after a year they are coming down slowly. Don't have that much for overpayments as there is always something extra to pay for. Over half term I'm going to really crack on with thinking of everyway possible of reducing costs.....

Can feel so slooooow sometimes and don't want to wish life away to each payday!

    Take care
