Hello and thanks :A
Well a huge flurry of activity re my nan. This has been going on for a long time with many failed attempts at helping her out of this mess. I'm conscious not to say too much on here..... finally got Power of Attorney revoked and bank accounts frozen...they took the last 39,000 out of her savings account in DecemberAnyway, we're getting her out of there today with her two cats (just phoned the cattery). She will be staying temporarily with her sister. Will go and meet them today (was going to go to IOW yesterday but sis said don't worry)
So much for a rest this half term! Still have sore throat!
Money tight now towards payday  Got quite a good deal on rubbish collection but still extra not banked on this month. Guttering not fixed yetbut kind of glad as no money till payday now! Took DS to see '12 years a slave' yesterday which was BRILLIANT and totally harrowing. However, went into Sainsbugs to get some treats and NO PURSE!!!! I broke out into crazy sweat as had tickets, CC direct debit card and £60 in there!!!!:eek::eek: Nightmare. Convinced it had been stolen from bag. Managed to get DS into cinema cos booked online...ran home and found purse in different bag! Durrr! So tired not thinking straight. Boy, did I get some exercise yesterday! Always a silver lining?
Missed about half hour of film but so happy to be there with purse!
The usual last week limp to payday. Getting DS to go to local ice rink to see if he can sell 2 pairs of lovely quality hockey skates with bag today. Fingers crossed.
Let's see what today brings

Seconded and hope they'll be some justice to follow in time. You and SIS have done a grand job.
You mean you have more than one bag Rach?. Only jesting, glad you got to see the film.
Keep taking those vits! Meant to say before, if you've got a local beauty training college nearby, they are often looking for victims, ahem, I mean clientsto practise on and don't charge very much. An alternative route to getting a massage (I might even take my own advice on that one :rotfl:).
Hope DS made those sales at the ice rink and you've had a less stressful day today.
The week has flown by and you've ticked off a big job with the basement, that's a great achievement. Be proud!Back on the DFW Wagon:
