  • Hi all

Quick update...not getting much time here at the moment :(

    Pay day yesterday :T

Phoned Bar CC this morning for statements. Getting sent (stopped by mistake) Got balance and interest so know how much to over pay. Will update sig tomorrow. Want to see debts going down!

Had our payday treat kebab and chips! Well at least I had a bit of salad!:rotfl:

Massive drama yesterday with my sis crying on phone whilst I was at work feeling helpless re nan situation. Really difficult to house an elderly lady...:mad::mad:. So many red tape blocks at every twist and turn. I'm not religious but said some prayers!!!!

Like a miracle (my sis dogged determination!) we got someone to help so fingers crossed. Travelling to my family in a minute to sort out some paperwork. Kids going to their dad's (at my request) :T

Haven't stepped in A$da for 3 weeks! Just had a little spend in Morries. Must get food in today as cupboards are bare.

Extras spent in Feb....dentist, rubbish collection, DS headphones, H&B vits and cinema...too much petrol up and down to see nan

Have overpayed Tes CC by £200 yesterday :T

Anyway hope you all have a great Saturday... I will check in later xxxx

    Hi Rach,

Hope you're ok and things continue to move in the right direction with your Gran.

Well done on no supermarket shopping for 3 weeks, that's amazing. Hope you've done a good shop and are stocked up now.

Brilliant overpayment too - you're doing really well.

Hope you manage to sneak some rest in and no hassle from the kids or the ex. :)
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18
  • Apologies for absence...everything is such a whirlwind right now...no time or head space to write :(

Update: Have all CC statements for Feb and have worked out payments this month.

    Guttering half fixed!

After ridiculous wrangling have got my 92yr old grandmother a flat :T
Two blokes (trustees) literally had a fight outside over it!

Sooooo many hoops to jump through. We are only a fraction of the way there. I'm looking at going to IOW on Sunday to collect her stuff and cat from the RSPCA.

Forgot about bath running and it started pouring through kitchen ceiling a minute ago (again!)

Need some good things to happen fast!!!

    Check in soonxxx

Blimey, think we should rename you Running Around Rach :rotfl: ;)

Great news on the flat for your Gran, but grown men fighting, goodness me, what are things coming to when that happens. :(

Well done on everything you're doing, all you can do is keep pushing and go through a hoop at a time. Sounds like a busy weekend ahead if you're hitting IoW. Bet Gran and cat will be pleased to be reunited though. :)

 at the bath water. :T at half the guttering done. Hope he's coming back to finish the job!

Well done on the CC payment sorting too. You've got so much on, so keeping that on track is excellent.

Well it's an office day today with a few meetings. Got to take car to work (friend found me a permit) so that I can go to the library after work and collect boxes of free books for World Book Day.

Got such a busy weekend ahead
Taking DS to see Disclosure on Saturday (booked and paid for last year) Must be enthusiastic! :D Would love it ordinarily but then got to go to IoW Sunday morning (possibly with hangover and little sleep!)

Will try and get organised Friday.

Have a great day everyone xxx

  • Hello

Well raved it up with 16year olds on Saturday night and LOVED it! Thankfully I was saved and didn't have to go to the IoW on Sunday!:T Had the best day in a long while yesterday. DD stayed over at her dad's for the first time. I had a LONG sleep with no disturbance! Bliss....:j

House not cleaned and no shopping done :o. DD spilt a glass of water on my keyboard and so my computer has been out of action. Still didn't want to go to A$da to get a new one! Getting a free one today anyway :)

Lovely in my 'garden' yesterday. Hung washing out for the first time. Love summer living :D However, all I can see is all the jobs that need doing. The garden is looking pretty wrecked :o

Spent SO MUCH MONEY:o The guttering was finally sorted £200! Well, it could have been worse and I've had my roof checked out by a professional. He's also going to come back and put a new fence in for me at the end of the month (more money). Had to get money on travel cards and got buses back from concert. Took DD to see Frozen at kids club...£3 for both of us:beer:Spent more in H&B buy one get one half price (forgot my £5 voucher:mad:) Oh dear...am going to struggle to get to the end of this month. On Saturday petrol for nephew's birthday. Got him some lovely converse baseball boots ages ago (nearly new) and put them away....

    Will check in soon
