  • Thank you Ali and STOP IT MIT...that just nearly made me choke on my tea! hahahaha!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well awake at 3.30 am due to lashing rain and fear that my ceiling will collapse on me in bed! Poor people suffering in the South West...devestating for them...I am actually counting my blessings this morning.

I am going to take baby steps through the day ticking those little imaginary boxes. Cannot wait to come home. Not looking forward to going out in wind and rain on my bike in a minute.........

DB has been given a temporary room in SW London and stayed there last night. He may bring his dd for weekend. We'll see.

PS been single so long, not looking forward to getting body out on a slab! Haven't even been swimming since summer. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Definitely a coffee over keyboard moment reading MIT's comment :rotfl: A choice of choke or spit :rotfl::rotfl:

And Rach - 'body on a slab' - where are you having this massage? At a mortuary?!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you kept safe in the wind and rain on your bike. Been horrid again and quite a bit of flooding in this area (thankfully not houses).

And your weekend starts with you dry, warm, fed and chilling out :D

  • May as well be a mortuary Ali if you saw the state of my bod!:rotfl:

    What is in store today?

Well, am going to buy two lots of headphones (dd and ds) both broken and they use them a lot......annoying

Waiting for tickets to arrive today. Bought 6months ago (feels really naughty now!) to take son to a dance event at Ally Pally (Disclosure) I'm a bit of an old raver so I'm really looking forward to it (March)

Also roofer is coming round and I'm horrified at the state of my house! I'll have to fix up the bedroom (where leak is) and the kitchen...washing up mountain and floors to clean:eek:

My 'nothing to do' day is getting filled by the minute!

Waiting for Bar CC 1 and 2 statements to arrive. Must phone NAT CC to close card (ask for a 0% balance transfer offer first though!)

    Take care everyone!

Ps in other news: am internet dating again! For what it's worth :D

  • Oooh! I love a bit of romance. Will look forward to hearing your dating adventures.

  • Hello everyone :)

Romance would be a fine thing! :rotfl: CBA and half hearted about it all.....still we can live in hope and you got to be in it to win it eh? :T

Weird day today. So boring to keep saying this but don't feel 100%. All the school bugs! Had a totally spendy day yesterday  Feeling a bit bad about that. Went into H&B and bought loads of vitamins. Bought kids headphones and got myself a lavender shower gel! Bought friend some posh coffee and biscuits (all from TKMa@@) for her birthday.

Roofer climbed out my window in gales  and thinks it's more of a guttering problem although maybe cracked tile by my light fitting in ceiling...think I was expecting to have a whole new roof for grands so compensated in shops NAUGHTY!!!! :o:o:o

Was a bit embarrassed about the extent that my house looks run down when roofer around. Everything seems to be falling apart. Garden looks trashed from storms and it's WINTER. DB commenting on this too....:( Oh well got to do it a bit at a time. So hard to pay off debts when there are always extra bills to pay...I feel guilty for buying the vits and gel but also got to keep sane and well to be able to work in my stressful job and look after kids....

Anyway a blessing I don't need a whole roof :j he's supposed to be back later to fix guttering. BTW he slipped on the 'decking' (which is basically mushed up leaves and twigs) and told me to get a hose to clean it! The shame!:o

Dropped kids off to their dad's (where he now has other child and back together with the woman he was seeing when I was pregnant!) So Jeremy Kyle! It's a joke...living in the most expensive London 'village' , two cars....etc.. but guess what? He will not leave me alone! That's why I told him I would drop kids...to stop giving him the excuse to keep coming in for a 'chat!' It's a long story but a couple of years back he wasn't allowed anywhere near my home and is gradually trying to push the boundaries....:(:(:(

Trying to keep the peace, swallow my pride and pay off these bl**dy debts!!!!

Didn't sleep much last night as one of my best friends and colleagues was in hospital with her mum last night. She'd had a heart operation, got sent home too soon and then couldn't breathe! She's on life support now:( Poor friend....how terrifying.

In a glum mood today....full on work for a week. Must try harder with my attitude. Then Half Term. Dentist booked £40  Have avoided this cost for too long...must go. Then try and keep it cheap. Think I'm going to struggle this month........

Aww Rach, so much going on for you and not feeling 100% as well - do as I say and not as I do - rest up a bit :D. I think this milder weather is helping the bugs breed.

Thumbs up to the shower gel treat, sounds lovely and vits are a need, not a want to be honest.

Good that the roof isn't as bad as you thought and fingers crossed the guttering sorts the problem. Oops to the decking. Can't help the debris from the weather!

Sorry to hear about your friend's mum, how awful. I hope she improves.

Exes are a PITA, that's all I have to say :D

CBA with the internet dating? Imagine...You'll be all radiant after your massage, italian stalion on the scene and lavender shower gel..... a Mills and Boon in the making :D
