He homes families, that's all need to know, we need a few more 1000 people like this and then maybe we would not have a housing crisis, the bloke is a saint, and if he makes a few quid then good luck to him
These cold hard facts are often lost on the bitter and twisted RFL's.
  • Hi there, I just wonder who is allowed to sign a power of attorney for a mortgage lender to appoint a receiver. Mortgage express used computer share mortgage services limited. The director “Banks” resigned from mortgage express in 2016 and was appointed by computer share mortgage services limited in June 2016. He resigned in September 2016. He was the director when a signed power of attorney was authorised on certain mortgage accounts. The people who signed the power of attorney were not registered with the company on companies house as officers, directors or secretary’s. I’m pretty sure that to be the person who can approve this action you would have to be a registered attorney an officer and director of the company.

Further the terms used to appoint the receiver were for lifetime mortgages. I don’t have a lifetime mortgage. Nor do I have any arrears.

Use this information however you wish.

    Thanks

So was it one house, or was it only two, or was it one thousand? You know in all this confusion I`ve kind of forgotten myself.........

Quite right GH, it's beyond my belief that this man hasn't got a CBE at least by now. Run around a circle 12 times and you get knighted, home hundreds of people and you are ignored.

Wow, you can get a CBE for being a vexatious litigant.

I wonder how many of his "1,000 tenants" would have been able to buy the house they're renting off him had he not driven the prices up and outbid them?
  • There are many schemes available for first time buyers to take that initial crucial step onto the ladder. No need to blame Fergus if all he is doing is providing a much needed service and making a living.

I think most people now agree that those schemes are responsible for driving up house prices too.

There has never been an era where debt has been so easily available and are there schemes to help FTB's like GH said that are coming out of ears. And here is a little secret for people not able to get on that first step, many decent homes have 3 bedrooms which means technically they can home 3 couples on SIX salarys, many of the Polish are doing it.
Fergus saw the opportunties and grabbed them with both hands, and there are still many out there.
Fergus is a throw back to better times and old values.
1, he is a loyal a good husband, it's not all about looks
2, He lets his fists do the talking and has no time for PC
3, He hates mass immigration and layabouts

The sooner we get dozens more like Fergus into Government the better, but he is to good for that. All this fuss about him putting a few quid on rents when rates went up(good business), going on local rates his properties rents are probably 30% too low. There should be a statue for that man down the road at Canterbury
