What it's actually done is make benefits claimants unviable to rent to.

And there is no shortage of working people ready to move in to the places they vacate...

I agree, just sour grapes from so many people who are just jealous of this mans success along with the fact that he has put so many roofs above the heads of so many families. People need to be careful what they wish for, if people like Fergus cannot make a small profit and leave the game then you wait and see the homelessness in his area and the rest of the UK, bloke is a hero

Some choose to idolise him or how he goes about doing business though, which is fair enough if that's how they feel.

Let's face it.

If he sell's up, he's a genius.

If he buys more, he's a genius.

If he stands still, he's a genius.

Whatever he does, whether it be business wise, or what he does to his tenants or contractors, he's a genius to some. That much is evidenced by this very forum.

But it's outside of here to, on other BTL forums. The bloke is held in very high regard by some. No one can change this, so sometimes its easier just to accept it. Afterall, the deck of cards is held very much in favour of this bloke and many other companies who extract money from the most vulnerable in society.

Mike Ashley is another case in point. People horrified by how he run's his business, but he's about to become the biggest and most powerful person on the high street.
