A friendly reminder to GCers to check your receipts before you leave the shop. At least once a month so about 1 shop in 4 there is an error on my bill and always in their favour. Not had it once yet at Lidl tho.
Nothing to add, just wanted to re-iterate. I often have little mistakes in my bill, and it's definitely worth a check. Especially if you are buying 'offers' or YS things.

Still NSD. Haven't bought anything GC related since 2.75 spent on lunch a week or so ago.
Trying now to sort out my shopping for the nest time I go to Costco.
I am making a list of what I want and jotting down the SM prices so I can accurately compare the prices.

Aldi nappies are great, I prefer them to pampers etc and they are good value too, especially when they have the boxes in too as even better value!
Thanks for that, I will call in and see if they have any boxes
Weather has been grim here today, I don't think we've had it as bad as some places though! I had to go to work, so it was a pretty miserable walk home!

Weekly shop done and £20.60 spent. Pleased with this as added some extra bits due to half term when DS will probably be raiding the cupboards more often
But, it is only Week 2 of 4 for me, so my total only leaves @ £10 per week  and I strongly suspect I will go over. I thought £80 for the month would be challenging for 2 and 2 dogs and it certainly is!
Meal plan in place for next week and we've enough main meal ingredients/batches in the freezer to see us to month end. It'll be the fresh and packed lunch items in the shopping trolley only for the rest of Feb!Back on the DFW Wagon:

Pretty rubbish week two for me - £67.71/£45. Oooops. We have friends coming for the weekend so have stocked up on snacks, treats and extras that we wouldn't usually bother with. Maybe £45 per week is too optimistic for us! £115.40/£90 sounds much worse than £115.40/£100!Downshifted

Spent £6.?? (Need to check the receipt) on some bits for valantines day meal, present and some other bits today. Really pleased with how the valantines gifts (chocolate hearts and some truffles) have turned out and think for £2.50 worth of ingredients I have made the quantity you would easily spend £10-£15 on in the shops, my have to help DH eat them
Also made the muslie bars LittleBill gave me the recipe for - Thank you, very yummy and a hit with both DS's and DH.
We had pie for dinner (filling was left over from a previous roast - some beef, veg and gravy) which is one of our favourite meals.Debt as at January 2014 £13,546.84Current £11,485.15 - 15.42% paid - moving in the right directionDebt free date [STRIKE]Jan 2016 Dec 2015[/STRIKE] Nov 2015MMH 35 - SFD 8/15 FB 266.46/240 T-O 0/0 donation 3/£3 LTW 8/10 exercise 12/12 neighbour favour?
