As I'm not able to do my main shop tomorrow and don't have the car today to go shopping so have done an Asda delivery to arrive early this afternoon with a spend of £28.37. This takes me almost to my planned spend for this month but as said before I've had 2 extra mouths to feed for about 2 weeks (3 meals a day!) so really didn't expect to make it. Fortunately the budget I originally set isn't set in stone and can afford the additional costs. Will try not to go too much over but suspect it'll probably be another £50-£100.

Hi - i just can't believe it!!! 16 more pages since I last read the thread!!
Will catch up later with what you've all been up to. Sig updated with very small spend and need bread today - but not venturing out if the forecast high winds arrive. Luckily I have plenty of ballast but it won't be pleasant. Looking good for managing as we have several days away next week.
Been very naughty and ordered some half price and reduced wine from Mr T to take advantage of the 1000 extra points offer (MSE email) but that will come off our May and June budgets - What would I do without my spreadsheets - my memory is so bad I'd never remember to take it off?
Plan to use any leftover money this month to start the second purse challenge - it looks like what I need right now to start re-stocking cupboards with basic ingredients.
Take care and hope you are all OK.July 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200

Good morning lovely people,
Bought milk last night £1.29 just to get through to Saturday morning.
Signature updated and £24.23 left to spend until the 28th (minus 5 days as we are away)..I might be able to get away with this small amount. Just.
I have to plan differently for next month. I think I have made to much for the freezer and left not enough for the top ups. On the other hand, I won't start next month with an empty freezer!
I know I should get a life but my meal plan for March is practically ready (in my defense I have got a LOT of time at work) ..and soon I will have to keep myself from planning for April! :wall:

Hi
Aldi nappies are great, I prefer them to pampers etc and they are good value too, especially when they have the boxes in too as even better value!DFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022

Another NSD for me and should be OK for another day (need milk before weekend though) Weather horrid so actually don't want to go out!!
DD has her pal round tonight so going to make individual toad in the hole with some yummy butchers sausages
Thought I would also start defrosting some of the unrecognisable stuff in the freezer - not sure what sort of soup it is that we I have today its only a small pot though!!
Also I too have bottomless pits of kids and have got through HM buns and flapjack this week and need to make some more today do going to use some banana paste and see how that goes might even do some frosting as a special treat Now the stores are getting lower its getting a little bit harder but I am enjoying the challenge and March I will need to make a definite effort to keep on track!
Good luck and stay warm everyone

I had planned a day out today, visiting several charity shops and a market I don't usually get to but the weather is dire, its the kind of day I would usually spend cosy in the kitchen doing baking but as I am doing a healthy eating challenge don't dare risk it as I would scoff the lot. So think I will organise another draw in the freezer instead and do some batch cooking for March.
Its made me realise how lucky I am to have the choice and I feel for those who have to go out when they don't want to.Slimming World at target0 -
