Last weekly shop done (spread between Lidl and Asda) and so I have just under £5 for any emergencies top ups before the weekend, starting to feel confident we may come in within budget
Going to spend some time this evening making up a couple of batches of soup, some muslie bars and brownies for the week (or hopefully fortnight) ahead, may have to hide half.
Loving how good sticking to this budget is making me feel. Amazed by the budgets some people manage to stick to but all factors considered I am happy with how this month has gone, hope to be able to reduce further as time goes by but as March is slightly longer going to stick with £260 for a second month and then see if I am ready to reduce it for April.Debt as at January 2014 £13,546.84Current £11,485.15 - 15.42% paid - moving in the right directionDebt free date [STRIKE]Jan 2016 Dec 2015[/STRIKE] Nov 2015MMH 35 - SFD 8/15 FB 266.46/240 T-O 0/0 donation 3/£3 LTW 8/10 exercise 12/12 neighbour favour? Popped to tesco, spent £8 on some lasagne sheets, cheese, a ys olive loaf, some soda water and some spring greens. I am cutting this fine. I am running short of eggs but should be ok until next weekend. I could say husband paid as he used his card to pay but as it all comes from the same pot, it still counts.0 -
Not happy with my spend yesterday at lidl and tesco - I've only meal planned up to Friday next week and managed to spend £50! The last couple of weeks I've spend much less and felt I'd got lots for my money, but this time I'm not sure what it's gone on. I will have to pick up some fresh teacakes tomorrow for lunches and will need to get milk during the week, I should still come in on Feb's budget, but was hoping for more to rollover for March.SPC # 348 2014-£169.07/2015 - £156.89

Can I suggest you just Google ' what can I use ....... for ? and see what comes up. I know my gran used to make me put my head over a bowl of boiling water and mustard and under a towel for the steam to help with congestion - doesn't do much for the hair-do though :rotfl:
I had a NSD today. Was feeling too poorly with this stinking cold DH has kindly 'shared' with me to go anywhere but must shop tomorrow
Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday
