:rotfl:sillyme I'm sure my husband would do this with plugs given half a chance. Aw Bless 'em with their wirey bits and bobs
I have also decluttered in liquid form, a cold glass of white wine and lemonade

I have collected up more stuff to dump in the bin/ donate.
I have whittled down my wardrobe so much that I have loads of coathangers. I'm not sure whether to bin them or whether a CS would be able to use them. I put them all in a plastic bag the other night and my hub said the dog was growling ferociously at it when she came into the room.:rotfl:
I have an old printer which still works but we never buy ink for it as it's rarely used.
Also to CS a (still boxed) photo frame and my remaining CD's.AlwaysHappy wrote: »Sorry for the long first post, but I've just realised I've done more than 10% of my original target. woo hoo!!!!

I know this is an old old comment but what I do is keep an empty lip balm tub, one of the little plastic body shop ones, washed it out, and what I do is pop what I don't use out of those sachets first go into there to use up the next day
AlwaysHappy - Well done! :T
I haven't been on here since start of april when I said I had 2 months until my dad was back from Germany... Well.... my dad comes back tomorrow and I've done hardly anything! GGRR!
So move over I'm back :P rather than going in waves like I keep doing I'm going to set myself a target like some of you lovelies have
I'm going to aim for 100 items by end of summer so Septemberish, 100 a quarter and it's nearly one a daygood I think.
Main aims are STILL to reclaim Dining room/tardis/junk room, and turn it into a computer room, reclaim top end of lounge, turn it back into a dining area. Currently we are using the table for a Xbox/TV stand ...and little sister has the ironing board for a table! Time to get rid of her shut her away in the old dining room lol.
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -
Still on a roll - I found myself lying in bed last night thinking about things I could get rid of.
Today I have added:
48. socks - bin (there was at least a dozen pairs but counted as one)
49. 2 scarves - cs
50. scarf - bin
51. room spray - empty - bin
52. round brush - bin
When I went through my sock drawer in my mind I thought I'll keep 7 pairs (I rarely wear them) but when it came to it I couldn't do it, there were welly socks, walking socks, slipper socks (never worn), bed socks, and lovely socks. Pleased that I got rid of some but know its going to be a long journey when already I faltered. Likewise this morning I went through my hair stuff drawer and had thought I would get rid of any brushes I don't use, but again, made a start and then couldn't go all the way. I think whichever I haven't used in the next 6 months will go.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0 -
Hi all

Got rid of 125 bricks from our front garden :T
and 4 apps off my phone.
Thats it for now

57. eyeshadow set - bin
Stilll a long way to go....I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0 -
Today I've cleaned all the house and took bin bags to the kids rooms filled two charity bags with outgrown toys binned a load of junk, even a full ironing basket full of odd socks about 7 years worth not one single pair (I'm a shocking scruff I know lol) made a tip pile in shed ready for oh next day off (we know how to live it up haha). I do try to have a declutter once a month to try keep on top of it, I live with 4 hoarders so its hard going with the junk they keep.Jan 2015 GC £267/£260

Hiya all, I have got rid of:
- a load of smellies, ones that my skin didn't like and some I just wont use. Put them all into a 'spa pack' with some candle holders and popped it on Freecycle for my local area, a lovely lady collected. This was a large shoebox full so quite a few bits out.
- a bag of tea lights out - freecycled
- some phone cases for my old phone (some never opened!) - picked up by a very grateful chap! - freecycled
On the way out:
- put up for sale my hair 'wavers' as I call them
- some shoes up for sale
- Some Cadbury mugs on freecycle
Hopefully some other bits will be on the way out shortly.Happy de-cluttering! x

I took some motivation from recent posts and made a start on my kitchen cupboards. Sorted them out and got rid of things we would not use. Then put some order into them to make it easy to find things.
I emptied a shelf cleaned it and then put things back in some sorted order. I do one or two shelves/drawers per night.
Looking better and when I made a curry tonight it took seconds to get the tinned tomatoes, chickpeas, onions, rice, herbs and spices.
I need to do a tip run at the weekend. We are able to actually see the tip on web cam to see how busy it is before setting off. So some exciting viewing to look forward to.0
