Hi all, after a busy weekend I'm back on the wagon lol.

The bags of stuff in the car finally went on Saturday (I would like to know why my husband seems to be incapable of taking things to the charity shop! lol) so that's a lot of stuff gone! I have a box of stuff that needs to go on FB/Ebay over this week too which is awesome as I thought I'd run out of stuff. Got the whole house to catch-up-clean after the weekend so not much de-cluttering to do really, just rubbish etc.

I'm rapidly running out of 'stuff' though which is nice....if not a little disappointing as I find it very rewarding lol :o

I have come to a shuddering halt with my decluttering. Had an op on my wrist at the end of last year. All was fine until about a fortnight ago. I have managed to pull something which causes horrendous pain certain ways I move my arm! Doc assures me that it will repair itself! However, no lifting, decluttering, knitting or gardening for a while!

Ouch ! hope you feel better soon.

A few more things have left the house

    48 2 DVDs – eBay
    49 4 napkin rings – eBay
    50 4 charger plates – eBay
    51 Cafetiere – eBay
    52 1970’s O level physics book – eBay

Also, since the start of January I've sold 40 things on eBay on behalf of my friend who is also de-cluttering.

some of the things that I've sold recently have required a lot of packing, so some boxes and bubble wrap have been used from my stash, so the box cupboard is looking a bit neater !

I've been back up into the loft and brought down a few more things, which I'll prepare for sale over the next week or so. Also have a pile of jigsaws which I'll list this week.

I'm seeing my friend tomorrow and she has promised another batch of stuff, so I'll probably photograph that on Wednesday

Thanks Goldiegirl. Wrist not too bad today due to resting it for a few days. Will just bite the bullet and let it have a few more days. Good excuse to get DH to do all the washing up! Doctor has ordered a wrist support for me so hopefully that will help.

My decluttering has come to a stop at the moment as I have got rid of so much carp already.:p

I am going to go through my wardrobes this week. I had a hole in my leggings and I forgot about it and managed to tear massive holes all down both inner thigh bits today.:o I will try and make up a bag of used clothes for the textile recycling place.

I subscribed to this thread about a month ago full of great ideas as to what I was going to do. I then promptly got pneumonia.

So my clutter is not much decluttered. We had new heating fitted so DH took the old ones to the tip, but I can't claim that action as my own. At least it was taken away to the tip and not squirrelled away somewhere in case we need it in the future.

I did however sit on the bed (all I could do) with a stack of odd socks pairing them up so at least I know I can get rid of those that still don't have a partner. I also managed to dig out from my clutter a whole load of carrier bags that I had kept in case I ever need a bag.

I am therefore getting rid of three humongous carrier bags full of other, smaller carrier bags. I don't need them, I have another stack that I've kept and I've got loads of hessian bags for my shopping.

Heaven help me, this is going to take ages!

The spare room is finally taking shape and i have my desk set up for sewing, my mum has given me her old sewing machine as well so i can get set up properly. I just need some fabric to go around my desk as a curtain so that my sewing kit and other bits are hidden under the table :) will pop a piccy on when im done :) the final result!!

happy de-cluttering everyone and hugs all round (cos sometimes we all just 'need' one) :grouphug:

Although I've been back to read up on how everyone else is doing I haven't posted since my rant at myself! I have a more positive head on and although there isn't much that's actually left the house it's much, much tidier and it seems to be staying that way!

The DD's tidied up their bedrooms and found a large carrier worth of recycling, a carrier of 'rubbish' and several items they no longer want. A pair of worn thin socks of DD2's was binned and 2 items of clothing of DD1's were put in the bag for the loft to be saved for DD2.

Posted 3 ebay parcels this week for OH so more packaging gone (still plenty left to get through!)

Our 'craft' stash went down a bit yesterday as the girls had a friend each over for tea and they both made something to take home :)

I have moved some clothing from 'to sell on FB' bag to the 'cash4clothes' bag as a) last time I put them on for a couple of weeks they didn't sell; b) don't think I would get much for them anyway and c) I's rather have them gone and a few pennies then cluttering up a room for longer without a guarantee of more pennies. Being happy is more important!

Our bedroom is the main decluttering/tidying mission so I hope to get that done in a couple of stages over the next week.

Hope those that are ill or injured are back to full health asap :)
