Well. today I finally got around to sorting my boys' bedroom (I have two lovelys age 7 and 10 :) ). Two black bags of rubbish gone, general stuff like broken toys and random bits of paper... also found almost a ream of white paper, so that will come in handy!

There's also a massive box of their old books gone to CS, there is another big box to sort yet... they have so many books but have grown out of a lot of them!

Also I am giving their old wooden train set to my 3yr old nephew as he is train mad... was going to sell it as there is a lot, but am happy just to see it gone.

Still going... next plan is the boys' clothes, the remainder of their room and that dreaded box of junk that is still sat there :/

  • 4. Catalogue into recycling
    5 - 6. Magazines into recycling
    7. Nail varnish remover to sister
    8. Book to sister
    9. Small plastic storage tub into recycling as lid is warped and no longer fits tub

Looked into selling some books on Amazon, but not worth it as they are all coming up at a penny each! I have also been through the bookcase and put several books aside for the next charity shop run later in the week. Had to be quite stern with myself as I love books. Decided to get rid of some that were given to me ages ago, that I still haven't looked at. Not counting them until they actually leave the building. The slight downfall is that I started reading a book while I was supposed to be decluttering...

    Three more desk drawers yielded:

    - dress pattern, address book and some random papers to recycling
    - 4 small 'gift shop' books, an empty address book, an empty birthday book, three unused notebooks, a set of party banners, 2 folders of souvenir postcards, toy soldiers, a birthday decoration and a photo frame to CS
    - a jumper, a duvet cover and 5 tatty pillow cases to fabric recycling.

Saving the big drawer till I am braver :o

    27. Went through all paperwork boxes and receipts - recycled what I could (papers with personal details will go to parent's house to go on their open fire.)

Another charity bag started as I was going through a chest of drawers earlier, to start packing for the move. Have packed two boxes so far. Also have a box of items to list on Ebay on Sunday and a couple of Open Uni textbooks to sell.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi
Have decluttered a voucher from my wallet this week. It's gone really far as well so that's good.
Some party poppers from a year ago are getting used up tommorow.
Used up toys from free magazines as party bag gifts too.
And have sold today a gucci folder for £37 plus postage on ebay. Really pleased.
