your having a laugh arnt you. :rotfl:
ill hum it, you sing it.
Don't need to sing it, I can play it to you via my music library or if you prefer you can watch the video yourself on Youtube....

If you want to break it down, the album won several grammys and sold 235,000 in it's first week of release in 2011. So thats a potential 235,000 fans that could choose Arlandria as a username back then. That figure has probably doubled by this point.0 -

no I prefer the spice girls or girls aloud, where you can watch without any volume and its still great entertainment value.
however how many of the 235000 fans already had a username prior to 2011, thus ruling them out. and how many of the 2 x 235000 since then found something else to obsess over ie beeber.
I rest my case where back down to 10 -

Picky little thing aren't you?
For 'rest my case' see 'must have last word'. But then, I think most of those on this thread realised that several pages ago.0 -

just replying to your posting in a calm and sober manner.
as you say most of the posters realised that several pages ago, shame its took you that much longer.
must try harder ( I bet you have heard that before);)0 -
I think you should have accepted the item as it made no sense to persist they have to post it as frankly, it doesn't make any useful difference now. The possible reasons why they still came in person are varied and may simply be misunderstanding or not remembering to check their emails again rather than an attempt to be pushy. They may have thought you were simply concerned you'd miss them and figured they might as well try while passing as they don't mind, rather than realised you actually objected to the idea itself. However, whatever the cause, getting too caught up in something you can't change isn't a good idea. It happened, better to work with it from there.
However, if you don't want items delivered by a seller in future, it would help to be very clear about this and say you only want items delivered by a courier from the earliest point possible. Ideally send a message when you pay saying that you want it delivered only by the method described in the auction and not in person.0 -

To start with they had every right to say no to hand delivery. When the guy came he never offered the item for the OP to take.
They weren't being pushy. They asked for the service they agreed to in the listing, they expressed surprise when the guy showed and said they thought it was being posted, afterwards it had to be posted as the guy wasn't going to be going by the OP house again.
They did want advice on what to do after the situation.
They did clearly say no. Most people do post items, it's silly to send a message to every seller just in case they may decide to hand deliver it. The reason the delivery is stated in the listing is so that you know how it's being delivered, that's the whole point. You bid/buy if you agree with that, the seller shouldn't assume you want anything else, they should send it how they've said else what's the point in listing a delivery way.0 -
I've not read all the posts but it just shows you can never know the sort of person you are dealing with - mental health problems, low intelligence, disabled, English as a second language, etc. All selling can be a bit of a gamble.
Personally I'd have posted it if they'd paid but would have thought it a bit odd. (I have posted one to an address 1/2 mile up the road before now, totally confused the postman who asked me if I'd made a mistake as we were both on his round)

My friends son is a whiz on computers. Years ago he 'made' a courier label when personal delivery was declined and took it round himself. A bit risky I though but he got away with it.

the seller never knew who was going to win the item in the auction and thus never knew the buyer was en-route of husbands planned journey. sellers bonus. seller was as ben84 rightly says helping the op to a new process of personal hand delivery, thus putting her business above the rest. seller wasn't aware the op was going to get shirty, I know we have been over the sign pointing before, but its still a vital point of the ops distain of the knocker. spilt milk scenario if you ask me.0 -

I'm pretty sure you already know the type of reply I'd give to that so I'm saving myself the time and effort of actually saying it. We both know it'll just lead to exactly the same conversation again otherwise.0
